Anthony M : Size wise how does it compare to the Cortez? Will it fit comfortably on wider faces?Mario C : Thank you for your question. Today i was able to have both masks here at the store to do a comparison. The Cortez is much larger volume mask ( meaning the lenses will sit further away from your eyes and have much more air inside the mask). They both fitted me very well, giving a good seal (5'11 250lbs, not narrow face). Also contributing to the smaller size mask on the merge end is the fact that it is a frameless mask. Hope it helps.

Direct bonding of tempered glass to liquid silicone skirt with a large, single window lens for unobstructed view, the Merge Mask 3 provides a spectacular field of vision. Frameless masks are loved by many divers for their low profile and ability to fold flat for easy carrying, even in a BCD pocket.

The low internal volume allows for effortless clearing. Mask has a double feathered edge high quality silicone skirt and wide split style silicone mask strap that combined to create a perfect seal on the face. The Merge Mask 3 has a large easy-to-reach one-hand nose pocket for ear equalization which can be utilized even when wearing thick gloves.
