Shopper : Anyone has experience with attaching the pocket to trilaminate dry suit?DALIA L : All replies noted, thanks.ERIC H : Yes, should be no problem, get some Aqua seal and follow the directions on package. I usually apply the aqua seal to the pocket first and let it set up for a few minutes and then apply pocket to suit. I then place some weight on top overnight. Make sure to get glue on the edges but not over the edge as the weight will cause it to expand just a bit.DIRK B : AquaSeal directly to your trilam or wet suit. Use a generous amount, especially around all edges. Allow to dry 16-24 hrs. It'll last for yrs.JUAN A : I'd avoid it for two reasons: 1) Most non-professionals use Aquaseal to do the job, and it doesn't usually last very long. The proper way to attach a pocket is by sewing it on, then "sealing" the holes with Aquaseal. 2) Highland XS Scuba gear that relies on this woven nylon fabric has an infamous reputation for not lasting very long. So even if you did get the pocket sewn on, I can almost guarantee that this pocket will begin to fray and unravel within 25 dives. If you do get a pocket sewn on, buy a different brand. If you don't believe me or are curious about the durability, buy another XS scuba woven nylon product such as tank weight pockets and take them for a few dives. You'll quickly see what I mean.
STEPHEN G : What material s the pocket made of? ballistic nylon? what denier?MICHAEL G : I don't know the count but it is made of a low count denier fabric. Maybe 300 or 500. The back is a sewn on piece of neoprene. RICHARD H : Yes, it's ballistic nylon, (very heavy duty, but flexible), except for the back (the side you will glue to your wetsuit or drysuit), which is a heavy neoprene.

Awesome pockets

These pockets are a really good deal seeing as they include a tube of aqua seal with each pocket. These pockets are robust and large enough for a backup mask or spools & when empty fold flat enough for you to forget they?re there. Definitely recommend a pair.

xs-scuba wet suit pocket

This pocket is the perfect size for my SMB, backup light and slate. The grommet on the bottom lets it drain easily, while the two side grommets are great for keeping everything secure. Velcro closure is solid and stable. Was easy to apply to my wetsuit, but like everyone else says, make sure you have extra Aquaseal on hand. The small tube that comes with it just isnt enough.

Great Pouch! Needs More Glue!

I would give this pouch a 5-star rating if it came with triple the amount of glue to apply it to your wetsuit. I kept the tiny tube of glue and applicator brush as a repair kit for future needs. But to properly affix this pocket to your dive suit a minimum of 2 oz. of neoprene cement must be used! Do not destroy your suit by trying to tack on the pouch withe small amount of glue provided. For $6-10 you can get a small can of cement that will bond the pocket to your suit as if it were put on from the factory. The pouch/pocket has a time of room and a mesh divider to keep things separated. There is also plenty of Velcro on the flap to keep it closed under any condition. An attachment d-ring seen inside slow you to tether items so the won't be lost if dropped. I love it, my wife refused to out one on her suit because she said it was too large. I like to have plenty of storage when diving so the size wasps bonus for me! BUY EXTRA WETSUIT GLUE!!!

Good Pocket

Usually, I usually dive a Whites dry suit with two pockets. I needed a 3 Mil wetsuit for Caribbean diving and I wanted my usual pocket storage. This pocket is just the right size and has two storage chambers(net separated). The glue provided was just enough to bead the edges and smear around the middle.

Great Pockets

The pocket looks great on my 7mm neoprene wetsuit. It looks, and feel durable. Easy installation, and glue that comes with the pockets keeps it on the wetsuit pretty well.

Good cheap pocket

This is a good pocket, and I've glued them onto two wetsuits. I haven't had success gluing onto my PU drysuit, but I suspect because I'm using the wrong glue. The seperator for notes is not good, so I cut it out. A small slate or the edges of wet notes, will get caught in the mesh. And it's really too tight to put much of anything in that you want to pull out easily. Otherwise, this pocket is pretty good. Not as big as others, but I can fit a spool, 6' SMB or lift bag, and strobe in one pocket without issue and it is easy to open/close. The pull tab and velcro are great. I hate zippers.
