TANYA M : Any tips on installing this? Do I have to go to a dive shop?SCOTT C : No dive shop. Just a couple end wrenches and snug it up. Works great on my dry suit and one of my BCDs. Not all BCDs have the connectionsTayo R : No, it takes about 4 seconds. simply screw it in hand tight and then one more gentle torque.ALAN V : No need for dive shop. You can easily attach to your own dry suit hose.kyle B : The adaptor screws right on to the end of a low pressure hose. just a couple of wrenches, one to hold the adaptor and one to turn the hose fitting. (insure the hose has good o-rings) Tighten just past finger tight. That's it.
Steven R : What is the male side size?DENNIS S : Male side end fits into regular LP hose , I use for my inflater to BC hose you do not have to pull back on the collar to put on fitting, all you do it push and it clicks on .

Just got this and it works great. I had to put a small washer in the line so I could tighten it down. As others said, pressurize line then clip on. No.leaks.and it breathes easy.

The description needs to list compatible male ends

Bought this thinking it would mate with the XS AC994 Male Swivel. It does not. I like this locking connector. Now just trying to find the one that mates with the XS994 that I bought.

Easy on easy off

This is the makes it much easier to connect your drysuit hose, even with heavy gloves. Unlike with other connectors you do not have to pull back the ring to put it on. It just snaps on directly. John McKenzie, http://www.ScubaGadget.com

This works great

Gripping your inflator or dry suit hose with two fingers, while pulling back on the locking collar with two more fingers on the same hand is difficult if not impossible for some people, using two hands means you need a third to complete the task. XS Scuba's has a QD Adapter that converts any LP hose into an EZQD Hose. Hose adapter eliminates this hassle and allows one handed installation, just place adapter over the end of the QD fitting of your BCD inflator or dry suit valve and push it into place.

Adapter will work on most inflators and dry suit QD's. Once you need to disconnect the hose the large oversized collar makes removal easy even with gloved hands. Adapter is made from marine grade chrome platted brass and will thread onto any standard second-stage end of an LP hose. All O-rings are Viton, so the adapter is oxygen ready out of the package. EZQD has a working pressure of 200 psi (13.8 bars) or below and is easy to install on the end of a low-pressure hose.
