Get a hose 4-6" longer than the original hose and it works much better. Takes the strain off the hose when you are not wearing the BC in the water.RICHARD N : no
Shopper : Will this fit an AquaLung AirSource 3? I'd like to replace my rubber AirSource hose with miflex, but the OEM hose and adapter are non standard with the hose as 3/8-24 male to 7/16-24 male and a 7/16-24 female to QD adapter. Have no problem buying a new adapter to work with standard regulator hoses, just need to make sure it fits the aqualung AirSource 3.Monica s : Yes it will fit

Worked great

worked great to connect a normal reg hose to adapt it to the Aqualung AirSource BCD regulator. It is a larger coupler that a typical BCD inflator hose. I bought a Milflex hose and this to connect my AirSource Reg/Inflator.

This works with Aquatec Air 3 alternate air BC inflator subalert unit

If you want a longer hose or just a spare hose or if you want to be able to replace your hose while in timbucktu and it blows on your Aquatec Air3, you need this. This and a regulator hose will get you back in business. This is an odd duck quick coupler and I have never found a dive shop that carries a hose in stock with this quick connector. Also the Air 3 is supplied with too short of hose so it is always getting stressed at the regulator every time you take the BG off plus a poor quality hose to begin with. By buying one of these and a regulator hose 4-6" longer, everything works better and lasts longer. Scuba Pro quick coupler will not fit the Air 3 nor will a regular BC infiltrator hose. This is the one you need for an Aquatec Air 3.
