This 1st stage is a death trap

This 1st stage is a death trap. It only puts out 100psi and most people may not notice until they need to share air at depth, and it wont be able to keep up. lucky I have the equipment to test. all my other regs test at 145 psi. I am going back to Apex and not risking my life.

The little reg that could

This is an amazing little first stage. I use it on a 13cf pony. The size is smaller than you think but the ports are spaced appropriately. The workmanship is spot on with no complaints. Now for the important part breathability.. it flows very well I have paired with a quick disconnect and have used with both an older decor and a new cressi both worked well and also tried with my ocean reef ffm.. no complaints in any way breathability is good. Quality far exceeded expectations.

Great value and works well.

Perfect first stage for a pony bottle. I use it with an inexpensive octo and a 30cf pony bottle for my bail out rig. I've tested it to 90 ffw and it breathed just fine and didn't freeze up in 40F water.

Perfect for a Pony

It is compact, light weight and well made. One HP and two LP ports. Accommodates one second stage and one inflation hose. No port for Octo but will work for a main set up with an Air 2, inflation hose integrated air supply.

K-DIN conversion

Very easy and cost effective way to convert from K to DIN, as here in Italy, nearly all the shops are outfitted with DIN whips. For the price it was worth converting 2 mains and the pony. Noticeable breathing draw effort when below 150fsw, but it's tolerable.

An inexpensive way to change out your first stage to DIN. Moving to Europe, there's a big preference for DIN over Yoke.

Great Deco Reg

This is a great deco reg, I have two of them with a button SPG and a high performance 2nd stage. Easy to O2 clean and easy to service with minimal parts and no adjustments.

The Highland by XS Scuba Compact DIN First Stage is a non-balanced, reliable and simple flow-by fail safe piston design that is factory set at 135 to 145 psi (9.3 to 10 bars) intermediate at 3000 psi (200 bars) cylinder pressure. The compact low-profile first stage is manufactured from durable marine grade brass with a chrome finish has one high-pressure port and two low-pressure ports. Regulator comes equipped with a 200/300 bar (3000/4350 psi DIN connection which can be quickly converted to a yoke style first stage with the addition of an optional spin-on yoke adapter. To protect the first stage when not mounted on a cylinder a Delrin DIN cap with lanyard comes standard.
