LARRY K : Does this fit a Sea Quest Balance BCD infator?Mario C : as long as that seaquest has a regular inflator, yes. if it has an octo/ inflator combo no.Andrew C : It would appear that it does, but one might want verification. I have used this product on out BCs and it works extremely well, far better than the inflation in a tub of water and then lettinh tjhe air out while submerged, well worth the price.ELIZABETH R : It fits the standard BCD inflation fitting. I don’t know what the SeaQuest Balance has.
Shopper : will it fit Air2 ?GREG B : I don't think it will fit. If I remember right, Air2 uses a larger quick connect. This product is for the standard size BCD connector. You may want to reach out to XS to see if they sell one that will fit Air2.ROBERT S : No. It will not fit. The fitting is for a standard bcd nipple. Scubapro uses a proprietary nipple that has higher flow for the regulator.MICHAEL L : Not 100%, but pretty sure. I used it on both my ScubaPro BCD’s, but I only use the standard BPI’s. That would be free...MICHAEL L : Mark C. is on target, easy to use, keeps parts working in optimal condition and the bonus, you don't lose or damage your BCD. I use mine after every dive, a simple way to keep the bladder in good condition. Pool diving especially as chlorine is really hard on the bcd over time.SAM M : Convenience factor you don't have disassembly anythingJUAN G : Undcrewing the dump valve repeatedly could damage it and that would be more expensive to replace. With this you just connect, fill and wash.MARK C : Because sticking a hose in the dump valve opening could damage the BCD bladder. Also, using this tool will help keep debris from accumulating around the check valve inside the low pressure inflation hose connection on the BCD.

BC washout hose

Excellent product, easy to attach and use and will flush the BC quite well, certainly glad that I got one of these devices as it does a much better job of cleaning out the BC than my older method.

A Must for BC Cleaning

I'm dry; BD clean

Delivers water into the BC from your garden hose without (the usual) getting you soaked. Added advantage: flushes out the actual inflator valve mechanism to remove any crud that might have built up in there over the years. Hopefully, decrease the chance of stuck inflator valve by keeping it clean. Also, can be attached to most dry suit inflators to clean them out. Just make sure water doesn't run into the dry suit ;) Did purchase a garden hose "on off" valve to attach to the end of the garden hose to allow easier on/off attachment to the BC valve nipple. Also, allows easy removal of the Washout Hose to wash outside of BC and remainder of equipment.

So far, so good

I have only tested this device once and it worked remarkably well. I rinse my BCD each dive day and this certainly made the procedure much easier. I will be using it on a trip in a few weeks and look forward to seeing how it operates over the long haul.

Rinsing your BCD bladder is important to the life of your buoyancy control device. Mineral deposits when allowed to dry can cut right through the urethane laminate or bladder requiring replacement of the BCD bag or bladder. XS Scuba's unique design not only cleans your BCD internal bladder, but it also cleans your inflator mechanism. The XS Scuba BC Wash-Out Hose is designed to fit on any inflator with a standard male QD nipple.

Hose allows you to wash the inside of you BC to remove build up salt crystals or foreign debris. Simply hook the hose to a standard garden hose and push inflator button. making Scuba equipment maintenance a snap, simply slowly fill the BCD bladder half full of clean fresh water, slosh it around and invert the BCD and let the water drain from all valves. Once you're done, inflate the BCD and let air dry, that easy! Hose is manufactured from the same durable materials as your BCD inflator hose.
