Waterproof 3/5mm H1 Bibbed Hood

The hood air venting system is terrible. Traps air in the rear and will not escape if you are prone, the vents are on top so you must be upright to vent and the holes are too small! A few small toothpick size holes on the inside, i had to use a leather punch to make more/bigger holes in the occipatal area. It is warm and well fitting though. Needs a better vent system though, it trapped air and i had buoyancy issues as i couldnt release the air and had to remove mid dive so i didnt have an uncontrolled ascent.

Hood was very comfortable and warm in 59 F. I am confident it will perform well in colder temps as well.

This product like all other Waterproof product are designed with high quality standards and comfort. I dive in water temps down to high 30's and this hood keep me warm, no problem.

This hood (or any hood) is an essential part of your kit. In particular I love my hood. Easily the best hood on the market. The measurements are exact so take the time to make the measurements before selecting a size and you’ll love the fit! I’ve worn this hood in water temps ranging from 45-70 and loved every second of it.

Thanks to the awesome customer service provided by Leisure Pro I was able to order a couple of different brands/models of hoods and return the ones that didn't fit right. The bib is small and goes just enough over the shoulders, which is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly around the neck and the material that is in contact with the face feels very silky and comfortable. I am looking forward to wear this hood on my next diving adventure.

I followed size chart districtly, but it's a little bit small. I suggest to buy one size bigger.

My wife hasn't tried it in the water yet, but I'm sure after a couple times it will loosen up a bit - for now it's just a little snug. Overall, the quality of the hood seems pretty high and I'm thinking of getting one for myself.

I bought this hood to replace my Henderson hyperstrech 3mm. I am exteremly happy with the fit and performance of this hood. I'm using it with the new Scubapro C-zip Everflex wet suit. I lobster dive in the winter in Bermuda and love how much longer i can last in the water before feeling cold. A great hood, a great buy.
