Shopper : I have Raynoids, and hands very sensitive to pressure and cold. Will this work for me outside in the 20 below or colder, or is it just a diving glove?? BillLANCE R : Well Bill, I have worn them outside at -20F and they won't work for you. The neoprene causes sweating of the hands and then they get cold. Initially they were toasty but as my hands starting sweating they cooled quickly. No good as a winter glove.YOUNG KYUN W : hi Bill! Here is Korea. I didn't feel the cold from 14 degree Celsius.YOUNG KYUN W : Here is Korea. I didn't feel the cold from 14 degree Celsius.STEPHEN C : Not sure that my answer will be of much help since I bought this glove for for diving in California, (Monterey Bay), where water temps are usually in the low 50s. They have kept my hands and fingers very warm while diving. I have not used them other than diving which is what they are designed for.LANCE R : Hey Bill, It is zero degrees here today where I live, I will get them out and wear them today and tomorrow and get back to you.LANCE R : They are great in cold water so I would think in air they would be awesome. I use kayak liners as well in side. That combination should be your ticket to warmth. If not, they have a 7mm as well.JOSEPH I : They're probably not what you need. Just a diving glove with water-resisant lining to slow down the water exchange. I have a 3mm pair for kayaking and my fingers still get cold when it's in the 30's. I use the 5mm for diving in 50-degree water and they're good for those kinds of temps.DAVID K : These are for diving. I wouldn't purchase the to keep my hands warm in air temps of 20 below.

Hands stay toasty warm

These gloves are great in cold water. My hands stayed warm in 46 degree saltwater for multiple dives. The zipper helps with donning and doffing. Much better than the 5 fonger gloves I used to wear.

Good fit, Not very warm

I bought these gloves because the 7mm were out of stock. I have never used this brand but had heard good things from my friends. Unfortunately, they are not quit warm enough for diving in late winter/spring Alaska. The current water temperature is about 38F, so, cold. The fit was great. Easy to get on, flexible, and comfortable. I would recommend them for warmer water.
