Questions & Answers

JOEL P : Do these gloves have a seal so that they can be used directly over a latex wrist seal, without a ring system?SCOTT S : You need to purchase a ring system, such as the Waterproof Ultima: http://www.leisurepro.com/p-wpgudgrs/waterproof-ultima-dry-glove-ring-systemANDRE R : No . These gloves dont have a seal. If you need the seal then you also need to purchase the ultima rings.Paul B : The way these are designed I believe they need a ring system for the o-ring seal to seat.
ALEXANDR K : I have D1 Hybryd by Waterproof with ISS system. The header says that these gloves are for ISS In the description mentioned "Antares" system by Bare. Which information is right? If ISS how to use them? press instead of standard silicon ISS cuff seals or just put the ISS seals over the gloves?Carlos Z : please do not find the size chart in the link is not availableNANCY C : The Antares system is needed for the gloves. It's made to attach ISS system of the dry suit. The rings thickness holds these gloves in place.SCOTT S : The Antares ISS system is engineered and manufactured by Sitech. Several drysuit manufacturers use these. http://www.sitech.se/products/dry-gloves-solutions/antares.aspx You can purchase the gloves and use with your D1 or any other Sitech Antares compatible cuff system. The standard silicon wrist seals remain and the dry gloves are donned so that if the glove rips or leaks, the suit doesn't flood. The gloves are fitted with plastic rings that snap together and then are pressed into the existing wrist/cuff rings that are on the suit. See this video for additional information on how these are installed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-z-i8ThbZ8YAN G : These gloves can be used with both. If you use with the ISS suits, you would need the Ultima glove system as well. Works similar to the Antares ring system.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?PAUL L : Spare gloves for my D7EDWARD V : I have used these gloves and love them. My current paid has been through a lot of dives and is beginning to show wear. I figured that I better buy a pair as a backup/replacement.

Rubbish gloves

Absolute rubbish. Purchased my Waterproof D1X drysuit last year with the dry glove system. 1st dive the water poured in to the gloves, they were full of small pinholes(gloves faulty). Sent back and received new ones but these to have now failed with the very same problem after maybe 20 dives. Small pinholes all over the top of the gloves were the O ring is located. Have to say the worst gloves I have ever purchased in my 22 years of diving.

Very good quality dry gloves

Great quality gloves and fit perfectly my dry suit as expected :) However, installation was tricky even with manuals. The best resource was you-tube videos on how to install the dry gloves on the rings. Took some effort and time, but at the end worth it !!!

Fantastic gloves. Well worth the money.

Well-fitting, flexible, and easy to mount to Ultima glove system. Much better than the various Atlas pairs I've tried before. The material started to deteriorate after a few years of saltwater use (despite not having been exposed to a lot of sun), but that was not a problem for me, given how happy I was with them during the years that they lasted and the fact that they were easily replaced (just don't but a few decades worth of spares). By the way, I didn't use the liners, but replaced them with the Fourth Element G1 Drysuit Glove Liner, which fit really well underneath these.

Good but pricey

These gloves are very heavy duty with a rough no slip texture all over. They should last a long time since they are so heavy duty but you do lose tactile sensitivity and dexterity. For routine sport diving you may want to use inexpensive latex gloves instead of these.

Goof for small hands maybe

I'm not too fond of the design of the system. It's hard to explain how it works, but you can look it up on YouTube. When I put the glove on, my hands are big and push on the glove in the same direction if you were trying to disassemble the glove. 3 out of 4 times the glove disassembles on me and I have to switch to my old wet gloves. If your hands are small and can slide in easily, they would probably work well for you.
