great new valve

Need to replace the valve on my tank since it was din this was a great alternative to purchasing one from the dive shop. Wasn't expensive and was easy to install

K-DIN conversion

Easy and cost efficient for switching from dedicated K valves to a combo/DIN. Here in Europe DIN is much more common at fill stations, and an adapter is not always available.

Great value for switching over to DIN. The insert should come with an appropriate hex key...I'd be willing to pay the extra 2 bucks to avoid the irritation of hunting down the right size and set (to buy).

XS Scuba's valves are designed and manufactured for long life and heavy use. The Thermo DIN/Yoke Pro 3442 psi (230 bars) is no exception. Valve is made of marine grade brass with triple bright chrome plating for long life protection in salt water. Precision machined from high tension brass and chrome plated valve stems for years of service and corrosion free operation. Valve is factory cleaned for pre-blended Nitrox up to 40% FO2. All O-rings are Viton and EPDM material and are lubricated with Christo-Lube MGC-111 lubricant. The high-pressure seat is nylon assuring the diver safe use with Nitrox.

Easy grip soft rubber hand wheel with stainless steel insert ensures long life and large ribs make turning handle easy even when wearing gloves. Valve bonnets are copper crush washer sealed. Standard yoke outlet with 1/4" hex spin-out adapter converts to 230 bar DIN outlet, Service pressures: 3442 (230 bar). Valve is equipped with a one-piece safety plug, has a 5/32" hex wrench dip tube for positive retention and 3/4" x 14 NPSM inlet threads which fit nearly all DOT aluminum and modern steel cylinders. All this and more makes this the valve of choice for the serious diver.
