Used this on 5 dives and the reg. did an excellent job. Took it down to 55ft, bottom temp. 54, with no problems. Breath easily from it and no jaw fatigue. I have recommend this reg. to other divers. Great piece of scuba equipment!

I love the simplicity of this Calypso and the twin octo for it. It breathes just as well as many balanced regs do. I've been down to 115' with this setup and have NEVER had the slightest problem! I'm a fan of having your regulator tell you when your tank pressure is getting down so you can look at your SPG and soon end your dive. The price of this regulator is great, too! Call me old school, but that's what we used and how we used scuba gear in the 1970's and it worked great!

I am very pleased with my purchase. I use it as my reg. on my pony bottle, a Faber 23 csf hp steel tank. I usually end my last dive by using my pony for my safety stop. The Aqualung Calypso breathes as easily as my Atomic main reg.

I am completely satisfied with this regulator and purchase. Lightweight and comfortable regulator that delivers plenty of air and effortless breathing. I used it recently for an hour long dive in 42 degree water with no issues whatsoever. Good work Aqualung!

I still have my Aqualung Calypso regulator from 20 years ago. I have changed the hoses and O-rings, and it still operates as new. I have put my life in the hands of Aqualung products for over 20 years of diving, and have never, NEVER been disappointed. Very good, high-quality regulator, for beginnger to advanced usage. Jaque Cousteau founded this company, and for good reason; they are sturdy, dependable, and failsafe products.

I have dove this regulator down to 115 feet in 65 degree water and it works great. Breathes easy and is adjustable at the 2nd stage. It is light weight and comfortable. I have always liked AquaLung products, and this is a great value at a very affordable price.

Great regulator. I was accustomed to using a Scubapro Mk25/S600 and this regulator is not quite as smooth as that... but this one is also almost [$] cheaper. It's very well made, and it does the job. I'd say the most noticeable difference is the added breathing resistance at depth. If you're new to diving, this one is all you need. If you go every weekend, then you might want to go for something flashier. If I needed a backup reg, I wouldn't even think twice about getting this one.

I'm on the dive rescue team for the fire department that I work for. We use these regulators (enviornmental seal added aftermarket) for our rescue divers. These regs get over 250 dives on them each year and are abused bouncing around in the fire engine and function with out any problems. They are also inexpensive to rebuild as they're everywhere. I liked them so much that the last time I needed regulators for my personal use, I chose to not go with the Dive Rite and did this instead. I use them on my stage bottles and would dive them any time as my main regulators.
