Very warm, comfortable, rang of motion is great, extended my dive season by months without having to switch to my drysuit.

It is an alright suit for frigid water. However, I don't like suits with attached hoods, so I sold it. It is tight and somewhat constrictive, and yes, I bought the correct size.

I read complaints from divers not being able to zip it by themselves, no sense. This type of semi-dry you are supposed to have some help to zip it. Also, divers complaining about the zipper. If you see neoprene or rubber under the zipper preventing it from moving freely, and you keep forcing it, YES, you are going to break the zipper. I usually comment on all the problems I find in my purchases. This semi-dry, is good and resistant. I have done many dive trips and I dive on a weekly basis at home. This guy is holding up pretty good. I also use zipper lubricants every 3 months to make sure it is moving properly. I recommend this Wetsuit for any temperature under 67. Yes a little stiffy, but no cold and very comfortable inside the water.

My son outgrew this but it was a good suit for the 2 years he had it. We gave it to a 5 star PADI dive shop (Patriot Scuba in Occoquan, VA) which trains/outfits verterans with diabilities and has a relationship with a scouting troop that dives. My son gets chilled easily below 60' and this worked well against 60 degree water for him in lieu of a full dry suit which he is also cert'd for but does not own. My son decided to use full face mask so we did not buy another since this one has a hood and a FFM can't seal well over the hood.

My review is more about the great service i recieved from Leisure Pro;s cutomer service who fixed an order mistake made by me at 2 am and by the morning they had shipped my new 8/7 wet/dry Henderson wetsuit. The wetsuit is amazing and handled novermber in Connecticut no problems!

I love this wetsuit! I'm 5'11'' 177lbs and the Large fits me extremely well except that the arms could be a little bit longer. That being said I'm not sure if the arm length being a bit short is a feature or a complaint. It does make it easier to get thick gloves on and off and it happens to be the perfect length to go with a set of thick gloves I've got. It doesn't cause a leak with my regular length gloves either but it's a bit close. I have done about 20 quarry dives with it so far and I'm warm and comfortable at 65 feet with water temps in the 40's. It definitely keeps the water exchange to a very bare minimum. Usually, when I first get in I pull open the sleeve to let water in before donning my gloves or if I forget I'll pull the chin/neck out although the latter is a bit more difficult since there's an internal thin piece of neoprene that goes over your head and shoulders which does an excellent job of keeping any water that might come in the face hole from going to your torso. Although I don't find I feel any water seeping in at any point when I'm diving unless it's intentional. I would 100% buy this again. Also, love the air spout on the head so I don't look like a cone head or get air trapped in the hood.

Nice fit. Comfortable. Warm. Bought 3, one for each of our divers. No issues with any of them.

In Southern California diving, the water is chilly in the non-summer months. This suit fit well, and kept out the cold.

Great wetsuit and extremely warm. The only downfall is the need for a buddy to assist in donning and removal. With that being said it is still my go to for cold water diving.

Superbly well made, excellent fit exactly as described. Semi-dry does not really capture how good this suit is for longer Nitrox dives in cold water (60'sF). I noticed no cold-water ingress at all, although you are clearly wet after a dive. The aqualock layering system at wrists and ankles works very well, as does the shoulder/neck yoke. The hardest part is bringing the integrated hood and shoulders over the top of your head. It is almost essential to have someone stand behind you to lift it up and over your head to put it on, and standing in front of you to lift it off without removing your nose in the process. Bouyancy control underwater is more challenging and requires more BC action than I expected - substantially overweighted for start of dive to allow neutral bouyancy at 15' for a safety stop. For reference, I used a regular 5mm wetsuit previously in the Galapagos (higher salinity ocean) with 24lbs (all other gear and me the same), last week I needed 36lbs with this suit - far more (+8lbs/mm of wetsuit) than suit thickness rules of thumb imply (+2lbs/mm of wetsuit).

The first suit I bought was so comfortable and warm, I ordered a second one the same size. For some reason the second suit didn’t fit as well as the first, even though it was the same size. It was short in the legs and arms, and tight in the chest. I checked the reviews and it was suggested to buy the next size larger. That wasn’t necessary with the first one. If you get one that fits properly, it’s a great suit.

Very comfortable. I live in North Dakota and usually dive in a drysuit. I thought I would try this out since the drysuit limits a lot of mobility. I really like it in cold water (around 45 to 55 degrees). I ordered a thinner wet suite now that the water temp has gone up. I am 5’10” tall and around 230 lbs and a xxl fits pretty good. Just a little snug in the arms.

I live in Southern California and the waters are cold. I have little body fat and going down below 60feet tends to be uncomfortable. I finally used this wetsuits and I did not have a problem with the cold even after 90’. Minimal water entered the suit. Only thing I will say is that I got a large I am 5’9 175 and the places that were tight were around my lats and neck. Possibly because of the zipper for the neck but overall wonderful! Worth the price

Great suit, great price. Go a size large to be safe.

Size chart was a little off. I got an XL and should have ordered a large tall. I am 6'2 215 lbs with long arms. The arms are too short, and there is too much space I'm the crotch. Neck are also has too kick material.

Just took it Cabo Pulmo, Mexico. Water temperature was 69 degrees. I wore a dive skin underneath, primarily to make getting the suit on and off easy (it works!), and stayed comfortably warm. I might add my Sharkskin vest underneath next time. (Began to get a slight chill at the end of the second dive). Little to no water leaked through the arm, leg or face seals. During the first dive I had 20 lbs weight and struggled to get down and had difficulty with my safety stop. Second dive I added 6 lbs, no problems. But with more use that should drop. (I weigh 150 lbs and normally dive with 10 lbs in neutrally buoyant wetsuits.) The cross chest zipper takes a little getting used to, but is pretty ingenious. The best thing is that I bought the suit as a discontinued model on sale. Leisure Pro ran out and gave me the new model for the same price.

Purchased this for ice diving in the Midwest and the suit met and exceeded my expectations. The wrist and ankle seals work great, providing plenty of stretch, durability, and seal. Gotten quite a few compliments on it as well.

This suit is phenomenal compared to any others I've tried in the past. The ankle and wrist seals help keep you warm in the most extreme conditions. The knee pads are very durable. I've used this brand in the past and the newest model has exceeded my expectations. The newest model is very stretchy and conforms to your body for maximum comfort. I also like that they got rid of the ankle zippers in the latest model. With this brand of suit, make sure to go up one size.

I bought this to keep from having to spend big bucks on a dry suit to dive deep in a local quarry. It fits me well enough but is hard to put on, and of course one has to wear a lot of weight. That's not the fault of the manufacturer. Using this got me deep certified but I should have taken the Dry Suit course first and then done the Deep Diver course with a rented drysuit. This suit kept me warm enough in water temps in the low 50s *F, but it is necessarily stiff and swimming against it hurts efficiency. Go with a dry suit if you can afford it.

Excellent late season cold water diving wet suit. Dove the quarry with 44 degrees air temp and average 49-51 water temp down to 61 feet and kept me very comfortable. The wrist and ankle seals work very well and the fold over cuffs keep water intrusion to a minimum. Was able to dive 36 minutes before really starting to feel a little chilled. I highly recommend this suit and I am very happy with my purchase.

Zipper design has faults and leaks water soon after beginning usage. Over all great suit (warm suit). I dive commercially so I am in and out of my suit alot. The zipper even tho is waxed daily still tends to leak good amounts of water (yes it is understood as a semi dry you will get wet) arms and shoulders are areas of most temperatures difference. Recommended for recreational purposes. Thank you

A great suit from the head to mid calf, but the taper from mid calf to the ankle is insufficient; more specifically, the leg cuffs are insufficiently tapered, allowing too much water to enter and flow up into the suit from the bottom. This causes the suit to become too cool during the latter part of the dive. For someone stockier than I from calf to ankle, it will be perfect. It's a good suit overall. My first year with the suit I was able to dive into water as cold as 32°F. After using it for two years, it is a little less warm but still plenty good!

This is a great all-in-one wet/semi-dry suit at a great price. I live and dive in Michigan and surrounding states so needed the extra thickness and warmth of minimal water exchange. This suit provides both. I am comfortable diving down into the mid to low 50's Fahrenheit anything colder than that is limited time only. Dived to 46 degrees and could really only stay for a few minutes before retreating to warmer temps. The quality seems good; zipper takes some practice to be able to zip and unzip on your own but it can be done.

Great suit, I originally bought the large according to the size chart but it was too small for me 5'10'' 194 lb so I got the ex large and it's great. I still can't get the thing on without assistance with the last few inches of the zipper but that's a small problem and easily solved. The suit feels weird and constrictive at first but in the water it feels fine. Like all semi dry suits water does get in through the zipper but due to the integrated hood and wrist and ankle seals there is zero flushing. Once in the water stays in and doesn't move around, it soon warms up and you don't notice it. I have dived in 56 degree water so far and been absolutely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this suit to any midwest divers who want to go deep in a lake or quarry and extend their dive season. I have to use a bit more weight but not a huge amount due to the thickness and buoyancy of the suit. Customer service was great when returning the non fitting suit and getting a replacement, ask for Eric Waldorf when ordering over the phone, he was very helpful to me in my transaction.

Would recommend. Been diving in the Hood Canal (WA state) It kept me warm, fairly easy to get on without help. Love the integrated hood.
