Questions & Answers

Shopper : What Oceanic dive computer is this compatible with?JOE S : Any Oceanic Computer that is a wrist unit and is air integrated, going back to the late 1990's. Currently the OCi was the latest computer that uses this transmitter. And Oceanic is working on some new computers to use with it.
Shopper : How do I connect this to an HP hose?JOE S : It is the same fitting as a SPG and should just screw on to the HP Hose no problem.CRAIG P : you'll need to get what's called a swivel spool to insert one end in the transmitter, these are a small insert item placed inside the open end on transmitter and in the open end on the HP hose not connected to the first stage. other wise you won't get it to seal. if your putting an extension hose on your fist stage which is a good idea this helps protect it from being damaged. hope that helps
SCOTT H : Will this work with the Oceanic + app on the Apple Watch Ultra?darrick c : Hello Scott, no, the Apple watch is not air integrated. This computer will not show air pressure.JOE S : The Apple Ultra is not air integrated at this point and the Oceanic Transmitter will not work with it.
Jennifer H : What is the O ring size for the HP port on this transmitter?JOE S : it is a standard HP Port Plug O-ring.
ana j : Does this work with the Geo 4.0 dive watch?Mario C : The Geo is not an air integrated computer.JOE S : The Geo 4.0 is not air integrated, so it will not work with it.

Works great, then it doesn't

This quite halfway through my night dive...I assume because my arms are long and it got too far away from my watch. Anyway, a bit more range would really help...or even an antenna wire I could run in my BC...

what you need to know!

1st.- it comes without instructions of how to pair it with your computer. 2nd.- called Oceanic service to ask them about # 1. I was told that the unit had to have 5 digits in the serial number (it had 6).My original one also has 6! so that didn't make sense. 3.- first i tried pairing it with the first 5 digits of the sn. That didn't work. Next I tried pairing it with the last 5 digits of the sn.BINGO. Other than that, the unit works perfectly like it should. One other thing, after changing the battery of my Datamask, I had to re configure all the details/alarms/etc since it automatically reverts to the factory settings(which includes the lighting setting of the screen at 25% (could barely see and I thought initially that the mask had crapped out). Other than these 2 issues, I' very happy with my purchases from Leisure Pro.

The transmitter has a user replaceable 3.6v CR2 battery and when installed to your regulators 7/6" threaded high pressure (HP) port with provide the computer with the following unique features.

Air Time Remaining:
The Air Time Remaining (ATR) feature calculates current depth, tank pressure, your breathing rate, ascent time, and decompression status to tell you exactly how much time you can remain underwater. The dive computer continually displays air time remaining via a numerical bar graph in addition to cylinder pressure. You may also display air time remaining in oversized digits at any time with the press of a button. When using, the transmitter option the computer with display gas pressure from 0 to 5000 psi (0 to 350 bars).

Dive Time Remaining:
Dive Time Remaining (DTR), like Air Time Remaining provides a 'real" number in minutes. This calculation combines nitrogen and oxygen absorption, displaying whichever allows less time. Displayed as DTR on the No Deco Main Screen, the graphic NDC, or OTR will identify which time is being displayed. NDC is the maximum amount of time that you can stay at your present depth before entering decompression.
