Fin broke at the flex point after about 20 dives. Owned less than a year. Customer service won't exchange them or refund. Love the fin until they failed at the molding connection point. I'd be willing to try another set coulda been a bad batch of plastic. FYI it wasn't the strap at all those are still perfect. Yrs diving 23 highest cert dive master

These fins are amazing! While giving me a perfect control with modified frog kick it can give an explosive power when needed. Suitable for every kind of diving: easy open water, drift, wreck, cave, dry suit. Super easy to don and doff and very comfortable.

Great fins. The spring gives excellent on and off, and the fin stiffness is great for hard tasks, like rescue.

One of the best fins I have ever used. First 6 months were really great until foot pocket is broken. I got a replacement it last for 2 months then it is broken at the same spot. The old manufacture is much better and stronger. Sadly i can't get replace anymore but fins performance is the best.

Took these fins down to the Gulf of Mexico on my first time using them. I truly love the way they fit and how easily I was able to propel myself through the water. I have wider feet and wear an 11.5 shoe. The XLs are perfect for me.

Great fins!! Light weight and if you have heavy feet then these are the right ones. If you have floaty feet then not what you need. My second set.

I really enjoy using these fins. I am a consistent frog kicker, so the stiffness is exactly what I want. Can push really hard through the water. Good for back kicks and work fine for flutter kicks when i occasionally need to. Springs seem to be holding up just fine after one year with no rust so far. Never had a problem with them slipping off accidentally.

Over the first months these were great fins. At around 40 dives they ripped out at the top of the shoe, and have no reinforcement strength in the rubber, which is my suggestion. They were my only fins I brought on a overboard trip. Aaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhh!!!! JBPD

Love these fins! Fit well, easy on, easy off. As an instructor my gear has to work hard but make my life convenient. When i kick, I know I'm going to move through the water. Love the color and the folks at Dive Rite are just the best !

I found these work very well for managing trim as the flex seems just right; but I don't like the small size of finger loop on strap. I am finding this to be too small for my finger and I have to pinch it with thumb and finger. Otherwise these are great.

I have a pair of Seawing Nova which are good with flutter kicks and I thought they were ok for frog kicks. They are actually quite good for modified frog kicks. But I couldn't get anything from back kicks which I am learning. I red about the XT fins and decided to try them. I was impressed. The XTs have more power with all kicks and I am getting some results with back kicks. I have not tried them for long swims but they do feel a bit stiff and could be more tiring. But I feel they provide very good control and power overall. Very happy with my purchase.

I love these fins! I have used them in Washington state, Roatan and Cozumel. They are awesome for all kinds of kicks. They are smooth and easy on the leg muscles during my dives. I would highly recommend these fins to anyone.

Love Dive Rite products!! These fins are easy to get on and off and are awesome in strong curtents. Another workhorse product from Dive Rite. If I had not accidentky left them behind I wouldnt have had to replace them.

Worked very good for propulsion under water with all kick styles but rubbed a raw spot on my 2nd toe on both feet while diving the FL Keys. Too bad need to find a new pair

I have used them a couple of times now, in calm conditions (sea and cave). So far I like them. They are light, so no strain on the ancle, but heavy enough to prevent the head-down position. They work well when using the frog kick. The only thing, they are a bit hard to remove when I am in the water.

Good fin, my cave buddy recommended these and its seems to be a popular fin in the cave community. The heel strap is great for quick on/off donning. Fins are somewhat stiff at first and break in a short amount of time. I went a size too big i think but they still function great. Frog kicks are powerful and efficient with these fins, regular flutter kicking produces quite a bit of thrust. Compared to some oceanic vipers i was having a lot easier time fighting a 5kt current to get over to a sand dollar i found. I would definitely recommend the fin, what it lacks in looks it makes up for in functionality (p.s - go all black). I wear a 10-11 shoe and went with a large fin, i think i could have gone medium and been a little more secure in the fin, the heel strap has quite a bit of play in it or room for a larger foot in a smaller fin, if you go to big then the strap may not be tight enough.

A little stiff at first. Once loosened up on the first dive, mobility was great. Good propulsion. Love the spring heel strap and stainless steel clips. Very high quality. Good value for a premium fins.

A buddy recommended this fin since I dive sidemount and for stability use a frog kick mostly. This fin is very efficient, you get a lot of thrust but it takes some getting used to if you're accustomed to split fins and flutter kicks. It takes some good technique but after a practice session in the local lake I was cruising very efficiently, with a lot less work than some other fins.

Took these fins down to the Gulf of Mexico on my first time using them. I truly love the way they fit and how easily I was able to propel myself through the water. I have wider feet and wear an 11.5 shoe. The XLs are perfect for me.
Sometimes it's best not to mess with a tried-and-true original. The XT Fin uses the original injected molded Monoprene blend from the 1990's, and is the best choice for divers looking for a high-performance blade. Identical in shape to our former fin, the XT brings us back to the original Monoprene blend that has been proven and successful for over 20 years. The XT's Monoprene with Monoprene center strip gives rigidity and flexibility for maximum performance with minimum effort, blend offers the best balance of power to work ratio, providing efficient finning in high flow or stiff currents. The blade shape is designed for a wide variety of kicks, including frog kicks, modified flutter and power kicks.
The XT are stiff, yet with plenty of snap and are lighter in weight than traditional rubber fins, meaning legs and feet won't cramp even after miles of swimming. The 8.5" (21.6cm) pliable marine grade stainless steel spring-heel strap allows for quick donning/doffing. A comfort heel pad and convenient, removable pull tab adds to the ease of use. A marine grade stainless steel buckle secures the heel strap to the blade. The stainless-steel buckle is a Dive Rite exclusive, and is guaranteed not to crack or break.
Easy to use spring fin straps automatically compensates for different size feet and boots. Spring fin straps are depth compensating because they will compress to changes in the thickness of your boots at depth and will decompress upon ascent. Fins are available in multiple sizes and weigh from 4.7 lbs (2.13kg) to 6.3 lbs (2.86kg) depending on size.
