Shopper : What is the weight of the mens "Balance" BCD (size ML)? Please don't submit "shipping weight'.NEIL H : I have a MS and it's 6.43 lbs.
LANCE O : Does the Aqua Lung weight pouches fit the Sea Quest Pro BCD?YAN G : Yes. In truth, this is an Aqualung BCD. Seaquest was bought out by Aqualung and they merged many years ago.
Shopper : Is this the "Sea Quest Balance" or Aqua Lung? The pictures show Aqua Lung. I want to ensure I get the item that is pictured.DAVID M : Yes it is a seaquest balance. I purchased this BCD from recommendations of fellow divers and a few test dives using this BCD. In my experience and opinion this is by far one of the most comfortable, durable, user friendly BCD.YAN G : Seaquest was bought out by Aqualung many years ago. It is an Aqualung item.JOHN A : Seaquest is a line of product from Aqualung. Product literature and warranty all branded aqualung. History is that the seaquest company was acquired by aqualung long ago. Name persists as a line of business.
I own two of the balance units. Lightweight, great lift capacity, and great quality. no buyers remorse here..

Shopper : Am I too small to fit in the XL?
5'10 190lbs 43 chest?
I want to buy the used bcANNE L : I think that would be fine...you could do like I did...I tried one on at a local dive shop then bought it from Leisure Pro.DAVE S : I would say, yes. I'm 6'2" , 210 and comfortably wear a large.STEVEN B : I am 5'9" 180 lbs and a 40" chest and I wear a medium BC. A LG might be a better fit, try it on alls I can sayVICTOR T : Hi A shopper,
I'm 5'8" 190lbs, and 44" chest. According to the sizing chart, I got an M, which ended up being a tad small for me. Of course, I didn't take into consideration the gear I would put on, such as a 7mm wetsuit, but I ended up keeping it anyway as it worked, for the most part, and I didn't want to go through the troubles of exchanging it online. The only troubles I've had is that the side pocket was hard to reach and zip/unzip. If you were to attach a knife to the side, it might be hard to reach also.
In my opinion, I'd say they run a bit small, but XL might be a tad on the large end for you.HAYDN F : I am a little taller about the same weight and purchased a M/L a few years ago. I sinch down most of the straps so I think an XL would be too big.ROBERT H : Sounds like you should probably consider a size large. It is adjustable, of course, but like all critical 'life support' gear a BCD is one of those things that a person is better off to buy new. While certainly it will cost more, it's hard to put a price on safe assurances and peace of mind.
