Jim g : How wide is the male quick release buckle end?GARY G : Jim Inch and 1/8 at its widest point.JIM O : ~ an inch. Seems to be a standard size, it fits other female buckles I have. Word of caution, ring is a bit flimsy. Was using it for my U/W digital housing ~ 40 # and it twisted all to hell on the first dive. Replaced it with a strong key ring and now works great.

The female end is about an inch wide, so this one should work.JIM F : I use this item to attach a real for my safety sausage to my BCD. This fits into a female receptacle that is approximately one inch wide. Measure the female end, as there are several sizes.SHARON M : Thank you Charles. Easy to use with gloves.

If you attach the female end with hexnut shackle to your 2 in. webbing, then use this or the lanyard version the quick link on your loose items, you can easily switch the configuration of your gear. Go fom a tool to a light to a camera with no extra effort. These are solidly constructed and will last for years. The only ones I've broken were by hitting with a hammer!!! And with only one tooth in the end it still worked!!! Great product.

Great companion clip

I have a collection of these clips and those of other attachment styles from the same company. They're great and appear to be very durable. I haven't ever broken one of these quick disconnect buckles.

Go fom a tool to a light to a camera with no extra effort. These are solidly constructed and will last for years. The only ones I've broken were by hitting with a hammer!!!
