My absolute favorite light during both day and night dives. I had the previous model for a number of years and liked it too but it flooded. So when finding the new model with the rear switch I bought two.

Good powerful light for the price and happy with the performance. Good strong light beam. The 4 batteries will last 4-5 hours which is plenty for the 1 or 2 night dives and intermittent use during my week long diving trip. Great value and reliable. The only thing to note is that the light comes only with a strap for attaching to a mask and I added a wrist strap I had extra and used that instead. The wrist strap worked better for me to control scanning and to hide the beam when necessary so not to scare away the night life.

I bought this as a gift for my son, but keep borrowing it. It has worked on multiple dives. I thought it might be too heavy to use on my mask strap, however, in the water it works fine. I recently used it on a night dive and while penetrating a wreck during my wrech course. It was super handy to have it attached to my mask so that both of my hands were free to work the spool.

It is very useful when multi-tasking either at night or when deep with low light conditions. I only wish it was brighter, maybe 500+ lumens, and had spot and flood beam modes. Although the position of the on/off button is very nice, can turn it on in an instant even when my hands are kinda full.

Switch failed on the second dive in Cozumel. I could have easily fixed the switch but due to design issues the failure would likely occur again. Output was OK for the torch size and AA batteries are easily found and replaced. BUT, the last thing you want to happen when abroad is equipment failure and sure enough this one let us down. The torch was returned for a refund and we switched to a Big Blue VTL3500. No more playing with these plastic toys.

Great for peaking into caves, crevices but also great light to use on night dives. Small enough to fit into bc pocket or attach to d-ring.

Product is good, easy to mount, and conveniently hands free lighting. * The initial UK mini Q40 MK2 that I ordered did not work so I had to send it back as an exchange for the same product. It took about a month by the time I was able to have a working light in hand. The exchange was relatively painless but I would have expected a working product from the beginning. I order a lot from Leisure Pro and this is a first for me to receive a defective product.
