My original BCD was a ScubaPro Equalizer. However, I tried the Rogue at my dive shop when I heard others talk about how easy it was to modify for your personal use. I tried it out against three other BCD's and found I like this the most. I have had over 150 dives on it, went through divemaster certification, assistant instructor certification and have taken it to cold water, warm water, fresh and salt for both, and very deep. It has not failed me in any way. The integrated weights lock in very firmly and they have not show any signs of wear and tear. I don't dive with a lot of weight especially if I'm diving tropical. I found that it disassembles quickly and reassembles just as quickly for travel. My wife and I travel using backpacks so I like that fact that it can be taken apart. Also makes it easier to clean and service. As I continue to dive, I will replace parts as needed but will continue to use this BCD. I love it!!

I have had my Rogue for 2 years and have put over 200 dives on it Love it and would by it again. In fact I have had several friends buy them and they all love it and it is so compact for travel where ever I go people want to know where they can get one.

The waist component falls off. This is a major design flaw that has been reported to AquaLung but they refuse to acknowledge it and do not respond to customers who report the problem. My dive shop finally replaced the component -- it helped my case that one of the shop employees had the same issue happen to her. On my next dives it happened again two more times. Another diver on my boat with a brand new Rogue also had the problem. I do hope more folks will at least document their complaints so there is a record when a serious accident or injury occurs.

I've been diving with the Rogue for over 1 year now and it is exceptional. Whenever I take it out of the country everyone wants to know what kind of BCD I'm using. It is so streamlined and compact for traveling, it really is awesome and amazing.

My first BCD was an Oceanic Excursion which was too big even in a small. I needed a BCD that would fit a 4'11 and 120-pound woman. I also have a 26-inch waist which really limits what BCD I could buy. I also wanted a BCD with enough lift for cold water diving and a back inflate, and the Rogue fits those bills. I bought the purple galaxy cover, trim weight pockets, and weight-integrated waistband for the Rogue. Being 33-26-34, the Rogue in the size small fits me perfectly, but the chest strap, I need to tighten it all of the way. I also like how there is no cumberbund on this, just a pinch clip for the waist. I like the design of the inflator hose. It is hard to get the buttons confused. I like how easy the shoulder straps are. I like how you press down on the circle and listen for a click, then the shoulder strap slides out. I have 30 something dives in on the Rogue and am very happy with it.

This is the BCD for which I?Äôve been looking. It comes disassembled laying flat. Reassy and subsequent disassemblies for travel are very easy and quick. It packs flat in your luggage which is perfect if island hopping. However, once assembled and donned, you?Äôd not know it was ?Äúportable?Äù. It has all of your necessaries intuitively stowed out of the way yet still readily accessible (roll up snorkel, dsmb, thumb reel, weight pockets, octo ?Äúpocket?Äù, trim weight pockets, and knife?Ķ all sold separately, but provides ZERO ?Äúdanglies?Äù). Wearing the BCD is almost unnoticed. Plenty of places to clip gear like torch, camera, wreck reel, etc?Ķ if you travel dive a lot, this is your BCD.

This BCD is dangerous. I LOVED it when I got it. Super comfortable. But the weight pockets attach using plastic tabs and after 30 dives the plastic totally fatigued and the piece holding the weight pocket on broke off on a dive my weight pocket fell off!! I started to ascend involuntarily of course. It was pretty scary - I'm a vacation diver not an expert diver and I couldn't remember what to do. Thank god we were close to a sandy bottom and someone behind me saw what happened and was able to grab it and get it to me! I had to hold it in my hands the rest of the dive. Later upon further inspection I could see another plastic tab was also about to fail, you'll see from the pic it's bent, completely fatigued. Note, I'm a small woman, I was warm water diving, no wetsuit, so I wasn't carrying a lot of weight. On the plus side, this scary incident is why I'm now getting my rescue diver cert. I want to note I didn't get this BCD at LeisurePro, but I'm now looking here to get a new BCD.

I bought this Rogue as a gift for my girlfriend. We have been diving together for several years. Trips all over the world. She has a Pearl i3 which she likes but she always complains about packing. On our last trip to Mexico a few weeks ago i sawing her eyeing up my Rogue, so I bought her one for Christmas. I can only say I love my Rogue. Pack it in my carry on. I have Axiom BCD and was a little worried about changing to back inflate. Can truly say I love it. I dive without wetsuit and use only optional trim pockets for 10 pounds of weight. The Rogue is very comfortable and fits well.My Axiom has not been used since I purchased the Rogue. Hope Kelly loves it as much as I do.

Aqualung BCDs offer comfort, fit and style. Designed by divers for divers, Aqualung BCDs come in a wide variety of styles depending on your dive profile. Whether traveling to dive in tropical water or hitting the depths in cold water, Aqualung BCDs will keep you buoyant and provide a great fit. Created for the accomplished diver who knows exactly what gear they want, the Rogue BC strikes the perfect combination of personalization and minimal design. Utilizing Aqualung's patent pending Mod-Lock connectors, the Rogue back inflation wing style BCD allows divers to dive their way thanks to the Rogue's easily interchangeable size and accessory configurations. With a 35 lbs. (15.9 kg) lift capacity, SureLock II weights, 2 folding pockets, and stainless-steel D-rings -- this BC comes standard with all the bells and whistles you want, without all the fluff you don't. When it comes to your gear, make every dive personal. Your Dive. Your Way.
Perfect combination of minimalist design along with the most desired features. The Rouge has octo holder, knife attachment point and easy-to-disconnect and reattach shoulders and waists with an overall weight less than 5 lbs. (2.2 kg). Unique modular connector system provides the quickest and easiest way to customize your most comfortable fit, creating up to 27 different size configurations for the perfect fit for every diver. Webbed daisy chain, often found on military gear, provides multiple attachment points for your accessories.
GripLock tank band. This band is a strong, secure way to attach the cylinder to the BC. Gone are the days of complicated web weaving through multi-slot buckles. Predetermined detente settings make set-up simple. No adjustments are necessary when switching cylinders of the same diameter. Best of all, you don't have to worry about pinching your fingers with GripLock's innovative finger saver feature. A new 3 position bladder retraction system pulls in the sides of the bladder during deflation keeping the unit streamlined and reducing drag.
Included Patented SureLock II Weight System - allows you to easily insert the weight pouch and an audible click lets you know the weights are secure in the BCD. Once engaged, the weights can be released with a firm pull of the handle. The SureLock II weight pockets can accommodate 20 lbs. (9 kg) capacity. Optional Trim Weight Pockets (see SKU: UDRTP) with a 3 lbs. or 5 lbs. (1.36 kg or 2.25 kg) weight capacity each can be added. BCD comes equipped with Aqualungs Power Line Inflator with an increased fill rate which is now, one of the highest air flows in the industry. The Power Line is an environmentally sealed unit for less maintenance, has integrated hose clips for attachment to the LP hose for a streamline and low profile. The inflator is equipped with a cable activated rapid exhaust at the top, simply pull down on lower unit to dump air. Inflator also includes a 3/8" threaded low-pressure quick-disconnect hose for attachment to your first stage regulator. Additional right rear lower and shoulder pull dump valves allows trimming buoyancy in any diving position.
The Rouge BCD's harness has adjustable torso shoulder straps, adjustable cross chest sternum strap and an adjustable waist strap. All straps are equipped with squeeze-style side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing and personalized comfort. 4 pre-bent stainless-steel D-rings for streamlined accessory attachment. Optional Aqualung Waistband Extender (see SKU: UDRBE15) can be installed to increase the waist size and provides a pocket for additional storage. Pocket is great for storage of items such as slate, flashlight, small tools, etc. The BCD comes with a quick start guide and safety pamphlet.
