First Stage
Auto Balanced
Progressive increase of the working pressure to maintain optimum breathing efforts: Depending on the diver's depth, the working pressure of the first stage is automatically elevated to counteract the increased breathing air density
Auto Closure Device (ACD)
When the first stage is not connected to a cylinder valve, (ACD) keeps the inlet shut to protect the first stage internal parts from contamination and corrosive water
Exceptional Cold-Water Performance
The LEG3ND's integrated dry chamber keeps inner components clean and dry by isolating them from the outside environment. Deep ribs create a large heat exchange surface that helps prevent ice forming.

The Legend regulators feature an overbalanced diaphragm and a unique Auto-Closure Device (ACD) designed to provide excellent breathing performance and prevent water or silt from entering the first stage. The Leg3nd Elite is the premier regulator in this line, offering high-performance features and ease of breathing for an exceptional diving experience.
Aqualung's commitment to exceptional cold-water performance is evident in the Leg3nd's three anti-freeze properties, including an integrated dry chamber to keep inner components clean and dry, deep ribs to create a large heat exchange surface area, and an over-molded cap to delay ice forming over the external diaphragm. The ergonomically shaped yoke screw with a bi-material soft grip surface provides a better hold when installing or removing the first stage, even with cold hands.
The second stage is pneumatically balanced and features new front cover opening channels, radial openings to prevent free-flows in strong currents, and an over-molded exhaust cover and air purge for ease of use. The patented Comfo-Bite mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue, and the regulator comes with an enlarged heat exchanger, ergonomic exhaust tee, and air chamber deflector for even airflow and reduced exhalation effort.
