I'm an instructor, teaching classes in the Northeast USA, so I wanted a pair of gloves that I could get on and off very quickly as I frequently need to help students with last minute adjustments. To be honest, I was skeptical that these would actually keep my hands warm as I was expecting an influx of water through the gusset and in at the wrists. I was wrong. These gloves are quick to get on and off and so far have kept my hands nice and warm for a 60 minute dive in 50 degree water. I haven't tried them in really cold water yet, but I'm guessing that they are good for another 5 or 10 degrees before I switch out to drysuit and dry gloves. As I have come to expect from Aqualung, they are well designed: nicely constructed, seem to be durable (only time will tell) and are flexible with good dexterity.

Used the gloves for some Pacific cold water diving. Love the zipper for easy on and off, with the velcro strap for extra security and zipper hold. I wear a Large and these are too tight, so consider a larger size than you normally need.

These are without a doubt my favorite glove for CA diving. The zipper makes donning and doffing so easy. I am sure they will blow out in time, and when they do I will simply replace them.

I have made several orders from Leisure Pro. They deliver the products quickly and at a reasonable price. I have been pleased so far and will not hesitate to order from them in the future.

Great gloves. Easy to don and doff. Should keep you warm down to about 55 degrees, maybe down to 52 if your hands dont have a propensity for cold

Great gloves that keep my hands warm in the water and are easy to take on and off when outside of it. I really like the velcro tab for holding the zipper in place - it works well, and doesn't compress much at depth so it's a good spot for strapping a wrist-mounted compass or computer without needing to use a bungee mount.

We use these for cold water paddling, best gloves I have found, and I tried many! Easy on off for cell phone and picture taking. Zipper makes no hassles even when the gloves are wet. I have both 3mm and 5mm. 3mm are a bit more flexible, 5mm are for when ice hits the water. Both have excellent grip , texture, and flexibility. Quality is exceptional, wouldn't trade them for anything at any price!

The quality is nice but even the X-Large are too small for me and I don't have that big of hands. I'm 6'1 and 185lbs. I think XL in china is not for XL in USA. Why only yes or no under "Recommended"? It depends on how big you are !

As probably every diver in the Northwest (Oregon) we go through lots of gloves. You have to climb over a lot of steep rock to get in and out of the water. Tidal surges and stiff currents have me grabbing for rock to move around under water. Really eat up gloves. In our 52 degree water these keep me warm. The zipper stays closed. As far as their ability to hold up if they last a season I will be more than pleased. Amazing deal for the price. We have some great diving just a bit tuff

This glove is designed for easy donning and doffing while bobbing in the water before and after your dives. The zipper closure is 5" (12.7 cm) long starting from the cuff and extending over the thumb. The length and location of the zipper is ideal because it releases pressure off-of-your-hand at its widest point. This reduces suction and-also-creates a wide opening when pilling the gloves on. The hook and loop tab is 4.5" (11.5 cm) long and can easily be placed into a resting position with the glove unzipped. This helps prevent the tab from becoming a snag hazard. The tab also helps hold the glove open while drying.
The main purpose for the hook and loop tab is to hold the zipper tab in the locked position, and protect the zipper slider/puller while diving. Also, if for any reason the zipper is damaged, the glove cuff can still be closed tightly using the hook and loop tab. Being numb is dummies. The glove is made of 5mm regular neoprene. The gusset is 2mm neoprene and glued/blind stitched to minimize water exchange. The finger seams are triple glued and blind stitched to reduce water exchange. The Zipper is a #5 plastic YKK zipper to prevent corrosion. The palm of the glove is silicone printed to increase grip. Gloves are available in multiple sizes.
