I have these on all my 2nd stages. Very comfortable and they stay in place without biting down. One note: I find I like them better installed upside down.

This my preferred mouth piece. It provides zero jaw fatigue over long dives with deco. They call it a comfo-"bite" but you don't have to bite it. The regulator simply sits in my mouth without any thought or effort. No biting, no adjusting no fiddling around. I have a variety of regulators and as such tried numerous mouth pieces that are supplied with the regulators. Atomic, Mares, Scuba Pro, Dive Rite, Apex, Aqualung, HOG and Oceanic. (Aqua Lung and Apex regs come with this mouth piece). I switched all my regs to the Aqualung Comfo-bite. It is a bit on the stiff side and as a result, supports the weight of the heavier units I have. (HOG is composite but heavy, Scuba Pro A 700 and Mares Epic are both metal). The mouth pieces that came with these regs took effort to bite down in order to hold the reg in place, and the regs sagged under their own weight. Very soft mouth pieces twist in high current situations or want to dislodge under the weigh of a long, rubber hose, swivel adapter and in-line shut off as some of my regs are configured. The Aqualung Comfo-Bite solves those issues. The Comfo-Bite' s stoutness supports the weight of heavier regs and the smaller profile positions them closer to the mouth so they have less leverage. The regs that are on the lighter side like Aqualung, Apex and Atomic feel like nothing at all. I'm not a small guy at over 6 feet and 240. But I don't feel the unit be small as some commented. In my opinion, you don't need a huge mouth piece in order for it to work effectively and you should not have to bite it to keep it in place.

Tiny is this meant for a child? Bought the XS Scuba looks exactly the same online but XS Scuba mouthpiece is normal adult size

After about 100 dives, my original aqualung mouthpiece tore. It wasn?t until I replaced it with the generic mouthpiece from my save-a-dive kit when I realized how comfortable it really was, so I ordered two: one two replace the generic one with, and a second one to put in my save-a-dive kit. This mouth piece offers great comfort and fit and is easy to install. The only downside is that because of its design (the added ?tongue bridge?) it may be a bit more frail than the robust generic mouthpieces out there, but at $13 for 100 dives worth of use I?m not too upset about that.

This one is slightly different than the one that came off my Impulse snorkel, but it's the same part number and seems more durable while feeling just as comfortable so no complaints here!

As a denture wearer I've always had trouble finding a comfortable mouthpiece. I read the reviews on this one and had to give it a try. Much more comfortable even after the first hour. Doesn't take the effort a regular mouthpiece takes to hold it secure. I dive an average of two hours every other day and this has really helped.

I have an atomic regulator and this is the only mouth piece that works so well. I don’t have to bite it hard to keep it in place. It is very comfortable. Don’t get the cheap version or you will regretted later. It is flimsy and very uncomfortable.

These are constructed of a thicker/stiffer material than some of the cheap knock-offs. They require almost no jaw pressure to keep them in your mouth. I use them on every regulator I have.

No biting necessary. Great those that get tired jaws from having to clamp down on a mouthpiece. In addition the design of this mouthpiece helps to deflect incoming air from drying out the roof of your mouth.

Having had a broken jaw regular mouthpieces can cause discomfort I can say this has reduced fatigue by 95% still have some minor discomfort but now barely noticeable.

I run this mouthpiece on all my regs. great if you are sensitive to too much rubber in your mouth causing a gag reflex

We had heard and read great things about this mouthpiece so we ordered 4 for an upcoming trip. Two people would not use it at all after installing it. The two others tried it numerous times, but were less than pleased. It is too large for many mouths and rubs the inside of gums and cheeks. We are sorry we invested in 4 of these mouthpieces. All 4 of us have returned to our original mouthpieces.

I do not recommend this at all ,, I purchased it in hopes I'd decreasing jaw fitague on long dives doing salvage operations I sucked in so much salt water threw it , I thought I was going to drown I tried several time to adjust it differently in my mouth with no success....This is the second time I've reviewed this please don't ask me again I'm stuck with this piece that cost me 12.00 $$$

I've put about 10 hours on this now and really like it. I hookah dive and stay down for a couple hours at a time. Comfortable, and I even speculate that it makes my mask fog less, but not sure.
