Very comfortable and easy adjustments. Weight pouches extremely secure though easily jettisoned if necessity occurs. Plenty of exterior metal hoops for securing various personal carry alongs.

I have been diving for many years, close to 40 years, and I am a diving instructor. In the last twenty years I have been diving with a Beuchat bcd which was very suitable for working in the water with students. I recently purchased the TUSA hybrid bcd. It took me a while to get used to it, but after two months of diving and working in the water, I can say that it is an excellent bcd especially for working with trainees. There are large pockets for spare weights, on the surface of the water the bcd gives excellent stability and when diving you can release air by an additional button located on the inflator tube. Those who purchase this bcd will go through a process of adaptation, after which they will discover an excellent bcd and highly recommend it

I love the active purge assist feature! You can release air from the BCD while in any orientation which is great for fine tuning your buoyancy while taking a photo or getting in position to spear a Lionfish without having to stop to get vertical and having to hold out your BCD hose above your head. This also means you can mount the hose anywhere including under your arm. It's very comfortable and the storage pockets are a great size, big enough but not too big. I can fit a 5" x 6" slate, torch, collapsible snorkel, and tools for coral tree maintenence in them.

Love the integrated weight pockets with quick release, the air release is incredible pull vents in front and back, press and release or hold it in the air and down you go. Had for 5 years now, like brand new with no issues.

This is an excellent BCD. I love the hybrid design and it is very very comfortable. I would not say this would be a good travel BCD as it is a little on the heavy side but for local diving you won't find a better hybrid. The best part of this BCD is the power inflator! No more having to hold that hose above your head to descend, just press and sink!

Love this bc but I got it to travel to Roatan!! It is bulky for travel but nothing I couldn't manage. The adjustments give a wide range to get a good fit. Drys quick but replacement wieght pockets need to be purchased through a local dealer. Just have to be careful to get the new style everyone always shows the older style so takes some time to make sure you get the correct ones. Otherwise it's comfortable and seems very durable. Just used on 17 dives in Roatan and it did great!!

Pretty good BC! I was looking for a back style/hybrid BC to replace my Sherwood Avid 3. It was a great BC, but a bit bulky considering that it is a jacket style BC. I like the style of the Conquest II, the 4 purge valves, accessible pockets, and the D rings. It wasn't bulky nor difficult don or doff. In the water, I didn't feel constricted, though I must add that their sizes tend to run a bit larger than other manufacturers...for example, my Sherwood is a large, so when I ordered the Conquest II, I ordered a large as well. Upon receipt, I found that their large was much larger so I had to return it for a medium, which fits decently, but still has a tiny bit of room around the cummerbund that I could do without. Leisure Pro was great in handling the return/replacement! Other than that, the only issue I had was while using one of the purge valves, the pull knob broke from the line. Fortunately, I didn't drop it and was able to place it one of the pockets until the end of the dive. I was able to reattach it by placing it back on the line and tying a better knot for security. In addition, I opted to switch out the A.P.A. for the Duo Air II. I have no idea how the A.P.A. is in the water, but much prefer the Air II for a better streamline experience by reducing the additional hose for the octo. To replace it, I had to take my BC to an authorized Tusa dealer to make the change. The entire hose assembly had to be changed. I also replaced the tank strap with an Aqua Lung GripLock. It worked great and made changing tanks a breeze considering that I didn't have to slide my entire BC over the tank for the first dive and subsequent dives. There are lots of places on the BC to add keepers and whatever else you may desire. For cleaning purposes, I have a washout hose that fits the connector perfectly. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this BC to others. Safe and happy diving to all!

I like having access to either left or right rear vents. I added a crotch strap and am happy with the setup. Too bulky for a travel rig, but otherwise very well done

The Tusa Conquest is a very sleek and sexy jacket type BCD. Unfortunately during my initial inflation check I discovered two pin hole leaks in the buoyancy chamber. Im currently working with Scuba.com to exchange the product. Im just glad I found the leaks prior to diving.
