MARSHALL A : Are Tusa Switch foot pockets sold separately? Medium sizing is a little on the large side. I enjoy this stiff fin with my sz9 5mm boots (or thicker), but the foot pocket feels loose when I wear my tropical 3mm low-cut boots. Great fins. Foot pocket feels big for thin booties.

These fins are very responsive due to their stiffness. I am a hard kicker and really appreciate the transfer of power through the water with these fins. The fins are short enough that I do not have to disassemble them, but it's good to know that the option is available if i need to cram them into a crowded gear bag. My only reservation with these fins is the foot pocket sizing. I am a size 9 and I ordered a size medium. The pocket feels fine with a 5mm bootie, but loose if I go down to 3mm booties for tropical diving. Overall very impressed with the construction and quality of this fin. I would recommend them to a friend.

The TUSA HyFlex Switch Pro offers a 20% stiffer blade compound for the advanced diver. The PuRiMaX "Polyurethane Blade System" generates great forward propulsion and provides a quick "snappy" response to the diver's every movement. The fin blade is made of top-quality polyurethane material that provides a quicker response to movement over rubber and plastic fins.TUSA's unique "Vortex Generator" effectively reduces water resistance through the fin stroke normally found on traditional smooth blades. Six (6) performance ridges positioned behind the blade vent reduce resistance, creating a smoother and more efficient kick cycle. Performance enhancing "Comfort Foot Pocket" multi-compound foot pocket increases power transfer to the fin blade. The angled blade design (A.B.D.) accommodates for this anatomical characteristic and ensures maximum efficiency throughout the kicking cycle.
