Questions & Answers

David T : Im a size 43 or size 9 uk size feet. If I order these fins in medium size with 5 mm boots do you think they would be a good fit?Mario C : it can depend on how much sole your boots have.. if you have thick sole boots L may be better,,,
PHILLIP B : What Size for Me? On land I wear 11 or 11.5. My Mares hard sole scuba boot is 10 and fits in my Mares fins: Raptor size XL, Volo Power size XL, Plana Avanti Quattro size Regular.SCOTT S : If you are a size XL in those other brands, I go with the Large/XL size in the Solla fins. We are not sure of the fit/design of the boots you plan to use and to how you would prefer they fit.CHRISTI G : If you are using spring straps, you really need to try them on. It took me 3 transactions and a personal correspondence with LeisurePro’s owner to end up with the right configuration. That said, these fins are the bomb. You will love.
Paul R : How long is this fin from the end of heel pocket to the tip of fin? Would this be considered compact enough for a carry-on suitcase?SCOTT S : Also, these fins actually come apart and fit very nicely in a carry on bag: http://www.leisurepro.com/p-tbtfv101/tusa-hyflex-vesna-fin-sf-0101YAN G : They are 22.5 to 26 inches long, depending on size. These will not fit in a carry on. Try these instead: http://www.leisurepro.com/p-ocnfac/oceanic-accel-open-heel-finLARRY M : My wife has a pair of Tusa Solla fins in the XS (extra small) size, and they are 22.25" from the end of the heel (straps not included) to the very end of the dual tips. I do think the XS size would fit into a larger carry-on suitcase, but larger fin sizes may be an issue. I hope this helps.CHRISTI G : It depends on the size. Our family has two sets of these and the XS are much much shorter than the L. That said, they are relatively long and even the smallest won't fit in a carry on sized dive bag. I researched it.ELLIOT R : From heel to tip the fin is about 24 inches. By bending it, you should be able to get it to fit in most carry on suitcases 4 - 5 inches thick..WILLIAM K : They would not fit in a standard carry on....
Shopper : will these fit well over DUI rockboots? i find that the opening needs to be quite tall for rockboots to fit in and be secure.CHRISTI G : Also if you are buying spring straps, getting the correct fun size plus strap size plus boot can be a pain. Once achieved, well worth it. I wear a BARE boot with a thick rubber tennis show style sole and they fit fine into the XS fin size.SCOTT S : These fins will fit fine over rockboots or any other type of boot, as long as you get the right size. Boots with a larger sole or that are oversized to fit over a drysuit will be larger than some other neoprene boots. So you should go up a size if you are comparing them to standard wetsuit boots.TERI L : No. For rock boots I wear mares.
Min Y : Which the fin's size is EU or US?STEPHEN S : These are sized small, medium, large, etc. Leisure Pro has a sizing chart that will show which measurements they corresponds to, either EU or US.JAMES H : USYAN G : please refer to the size chart on the item page.

Great fins, reasonable price.

Bought these for my wife. We both dive split fin Tusa. She tried them out this weekend and loved them. So I had to try them. Used a lot less effort and had a lot more control. Fixing to buy me a set. A little bit lighter than the splits also.

Great fins

Solid fins, bought for 12yo kid, beginner diver and strong snorkeler. Have used almost daily for a month, fins provide effective kicking in both diving & snorkeling and are holding up beautifully to kid ownership. Love how easy the back straps glide for open/close. Highly recommend.

Great fins size runs big

I bought these fins a little over a year ago and selected Medium as I normally wear mens size 8.5-9. As many other reviewers reported, the foot pockets were huge. I wear booties and used them a few times, but they were just too loose. I ordered the size small and they fit correctly. I have dived with them a few times now and no issues. They are great fins!

Great fins, but are rather large.

Great fins, I have 400 dives with these and they work well. They are quite large so it could be difficult to travel with them if your suitcase is on the smaller size. But other than that they are great

Terrific dive fins

First pair I have owned and may get a second pair for back up. They are a bit heavy, but it's an advantage as I carry less weight in the pockets and provides better balance. Can generate loads of force and are ridged enough not to disturb the bottom as much as softer fins. Really easy to get on and off. Fits my boots perfect. Honestly can't enough good about these.

Good fin and price

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter, who is getting scuba certified. It was a challenge to find a fin for her small feet and per the guidance of the Leisure Pro staff we went with this one. The fit is great and the price is right, since she will outgrow these long before they wear out. Hard to say they are better than any other fin as she is just getting certified, but she likes them and they look well made.

Work well, run big depending on your dive boots.

Like the fins. Don't get green. Turns a sickly yellow color under the water. I wear a thin slip-on dive boot. I use the extra small fin.

Tusa Solla Fins

These Solla Fins are great! I needed to replace my Mares Avanti Fins with Fins that weren't too stiff, and these Fins have plenty of power & flex enough that I do not experience any cramping like I experienced with the Tusa Tri-Ex. I wear a 12B, and the Medium Size fits. Be aware that the L-XL Fins have a wide foot pocket.

Great fin for traveling.

Really like these. I bought a size down to allow for easy packing in luggage for plane travel. They easily accommodate me when using a 2 mm boot, even though they are medium and I usually wear large. Great feel, allows for easy movement without legs cramping up.

Great basic fins!

I mostly dive in the tropics and previously use split fins. I bought the Tusa Solla in preparation for stronger-current waters. These worked out great as basic fins - not too powerful, great control, a bit more flexible than I would've liked (i swim more with my ankles and noticed an interesting "whip" in the fins at the end of each flick, which I initially mistook as having nicked something with my fins). I am a women's size 7 and bought the XS. The bootie box is a bit broad; I thought fit would be an issue affecting performance in the water, but did not find this to be a problem at all as long as the straps are securely tightened. Broader box actually made the fins easier to remove at the surface as I get ready to jump back into the boat.

Amazing fin for the price! (got them on sale here)

I love these fins! Tons of power with little effort. I got the white and green which I love, makes it easy for my dive or snorkel buddies to spot me. Be advised, you will absolutely want to use dive boots with these, the foot pocket would murder your foot with out them. I'm a male shoe size 8.5 and I went with the small fins which fit perfectly! I would have had way too much extra room in the medium.

A Note On Sizing

By Underwater G.

I bought these to use in drift dives because my Tusa Xpert Zoom split fins offer too little oomph to pause or go backward in even moderate current. Love the fins, and they look great too. I bought them in green/white and added the Tusa spring strap also, which comes in white. Nice! Now I have two spare straps for my save-a-dive kit. Also nice! I wear a size 7 shoe and a size six bootie. When I received these and installed the spring straps (which of course are not adjustable), they were e...
