Allan K : The review below says this holster is for the 2.7 cu ft bottle. This is the size I am looking for. In one of the answers it states its for a 3.0. Which is it? If it is not for the 2.7, do you carry one for the 2.7?B C : This is a dual size holster. The holster comes set for a 2.7 bottle. If you have a 3.0 simply cut the stitching on the bottom of the holster and it will open to accommodate a 3.0 bottle.JOHN R : Our bottle is 3.0 cu feet.GARY W : Allan I have the older 2.7 bottle and my wife has the 3.0 bottle. The holsters are the same with one exception. The one for my 2.7 has some stitching at the bottom that will not allow the bottle to go all the way into the holster. Effectively it shortens the pocket. If you go the Spare Air website you will see that there are different part numbers for the holsters. I believe the holster you are looking at is for the 300 only. The 170 is about 1/2 the height of the 300, and has a different holster part no. A mouth piece cover and a lanyard do come with holster package. They also come with the original spare air retail package if you bought your spare air that way. The holster listed separately is intended as a replacement for a lost or damaged holster or as an upgrade for folks who have an older style holster. Versitile Product

I can see the "shortfall" of this product (if you can call it that). It is factory sewn for the shorter Spare Air Bottle. To use this pouch for the 3.0 size, you must carefully rip the white stitching on the yellow (front) side just above the drain hole. It took all of 5 minutes to modify and my 3.0 bottle now fits secure! **Note* Once you rip the stitching as described above, the pouch is for the bigger 3.0 bottle, the smaller bottle will not secure properly. (too loose)

Secure your spare air

Velcro flap is too short to maximize holding of tank in place,otherwise it is a great improvement over the old style tank holders.

Spare Air Pocket

Keeping your Spare Air secured and accessable can be a challange. The elastic loop provided works for awhile, but eventually stretches and allows the bottle to slip. This velcro-closed holster, with multiple attachment points, allows you to fasten the Spare Air to your BC or life jacket in a variety of configurations while retaining the quick access required when you need it.
