Spare Air Travel Pack

Traveling with Spare Air System? You need the Spare Air Travel Pack to keep your unit protected and clean during traveling! The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires that if a compressed gas cylinder is allowed in carry-on or checked baggage ONLY if the regulator valve is completely disconnected from the cylinder and the cylinder is no longer sealed (i.e. the cylinder has an open end). The cylinder must have an opening to allow for a visual inspection inside. TSA Security Screeners will NOT remove the seal/regulator valve from the cylinder at the checkpoint. If the cylinder is sealed (i.e. the regulator valve is still attached), the cylinder is prohibited and not permitted through the security checkpoint, regardless of the reading on the pressure gauge indicator. TSA Security Screeners must visibly ensure that the cylinder is completely empty and that there are no prohibited items inside.

The Spare Air Travel Pack provides the items you need to properly protect and keep your Spare Air system clean for use upon arrival at your dive destination. Included in the travel pack are a protective cap for the regulator threads, protective cap for cylinder threads, 3-extra cylinder O-rings, tub of O-ring lubricant and a durable plastic reusable pouch for all items in the pack. Pouch is made from clear plastic for easy viewing of content, has a zippered closure with two top grab handles for ease of transport and comes with instructions for use. Fits cylinder sizes: 1.1, 1.7 & 3 cu.ft.
