The Star Paragon XL is awesome!! Other kayaks I've tried were to small (I am 6'), I really like the adjustable feet supports with the Paragon. It was easy to set-up and take down, clean-up was a breeze. It's a little heavy but not bad. I might not needed the XL but I like the extra weight capacity if I want more gear to go exploring. Will look at getting a cushier seat for those times I spend most of the day on the water. I've not had it long but it seems to be very well constructed. Getting it for 45% off made it a screaming deal.

This kayak handles well for being an inflatable. Sable and tracks relatively straight. It's a bit of a challenge to roll up and get back into the bag, but is doable with practice and watching the video. We bought a pair, and one of the pumps continues to have problems with the pressure gauge even after trying a number of things recommended by customer service

I have used sit on top rigid boats for years. I really enjoy this new boat setup takes less than 10 minutes. The boat is easy to use on the water, we mostly float small rivers and lakes here in western Wyoming and this boat is perfect for that!

Great touring IK, very rigid, tracks fine, very compact, and doesn't require extra charges as checked baggage. Only negative is when waves get over 6" the bow doesn't cleave the waves; it staggers a little, rises, and then slaps down. Added the Pike IK Chair for dryer, more comfortable ride.

The boat itself it sturdy and well-made. It paddles in a straight line very nicely without the skeg installed. I've paddled it down a river with some class 1 riffles and it handled it very nicely. I've taken it on Humboldt Bay on a choppy day and it felt very stable. My only gripe is with the fabric seat. The stitching on one of the seat stays came undone and it just fell off. This happened the first time I took the boat out. Fortunately I have some connections to people with industrial sewing machines and was able to get it fixed for free. If y'all at NRS read these reviews, I'm gonna recommend you box-tack those things in place so they're less likely to come undone.
