Sea & Sea YS-D3 SNOOT

What is a Snoot? A snoot is a tube that fits over a strobe light to direct the light in a focused area and prevents light spill from getting into your shadows. Snoots direct your light and focus it inward. This makes the coverage very narrow and the light's fall-off very sharp. A snoot can be a great way to achieve the dramatic look you're going for. The Sea & Sea SNOOT is a strobe adaptor for use with the Sea & Sea YS-D3 Lightning Strobe (see SKU: SSYD3LS) which narrows the beam angle to be directed at a target point. Diameter of the opening 1" (25mm). Designed with internal prism which aligns target light's light axis and strobe's light axis to the center. At those times when a tight spot beam will serve you better than a wide flood, slip this SNOOT over the lens of your Sea & Sea YS-D3 strobe. Fits over the head and narrows the output into a soft circle that is smaller as move closer to your subject and grows larger as you move it away. Great for closeup and portrait shots. Made from corrosion resistant material and attaches with a bayonet fitting.
