DAWN S : does this fit the ys-03?MARC C : From what I’ve been told all the ys series are based on the same platform so I would think that the diffuser is the same. However I have not used a ys03 so I can’t say for certain. In any case I can tell you that you need to tether the diffuser to the strobe because that diffuser often falls off.

Many people avoid using a camera flash because it washes people out, creates harsh shadows, and usually overpowers the background of the photo. You want to take better pictures under water, so you need a diffuser for your camera strobe. The Sea & Sea Diffuser for YS-01and YS-02 Strobes (see SKU: SSYS01) will give you better contrast and richer colors when taking pictures. The diffuser attaches easily to the Strobe. So, take better pictures with a diffuser on you strobe. Use of the accessory diffuser drops the light level; the beam angle of 100° is increased to 110° beam angle (with diffuser) changes the color temperature of 5,600°K to a color temperature w/diffuser of 5,250°K. The diffuser fits on the front of the YS-01and YS-02 has a fiber optic cable port that lines up with the strobe's slave trigger. Diffuser is made from non-corrosive plastic.
