That I've been able to squeeze into a pouch is three, 4 pound weights for a total of 12 pounds. Babs.Anne B : Yes, it will. That’s the same weight I use with mine.

I pulled one of the 10lbs here and it does say Seaquest on the buckle. Yes it is exactly the same as the picture and it will fit surelock systems from aqualung.

Shopper : does it come with the lead weight? the specs say it just weighs 0.5lbHARVEY C : No, it comes without any weights. Note that it works much better with hard weights than with soft weights. Hard weights slide in and out easily, while soft weights are more difficult to load and unload. Note also that there are two models of this pouch-- "10 lb" and "16 lb". Be sure to order the one that fits your BC! The "10 lb" has just one sleeve for the weights, while the "16 lb" has two sleeves and is twice as wide. You can easily see the difference in the photos on the Leisure Pro site.NICOLAS B : It does not come with the lead weight. The pouch itself weighs about a half pound.JOSEPH B : No lead weight included with the pouch purchase. Just about any dive shop carries the 'bean bag' lead weights.

Won't break like the originals

I got two of these. One of my originals broke and I ordered this replacement. I should have ordered two because the other original one broke a couple of dives later. Do yourself a favor if you are replacing broken original pouches--do them both at once.

make sure you order the right size

I first ordered the larger size, it was way too large. I had to return and get the smaller size 10 lbs to fit the pocket of my husbands BCD. My husband lost his weight pocket diving in Roatan. I am glad it was a fairly inexpensive purchase to replace.

Good concept, more streamlined than othe

Like the design, but this is my fourth one because the locking catch breaks. So far I have not lost a weight pocket on a dive, but a buddy did on a rental "pro Q D" and had to pay for it because she couldn't prove the catch broke.

Always carry a spare!

Don't let that special diving vacation get impacted by a lost or damaged weight pocket. Accidents happen and you always need to carry a spare. This is the original manufacturer's replacement. Good price.

Good to have spares

If you have a SeaQuest BCD that uses the SureLock weight pockets, you should have spares. Dive boats have extra weights, but they don't carry spare weight pockets.

I lost the first two while trying to adjust the tank on the BCD while in the water. I had pulled the BCD off to tighten the tank. Upon putting the BCD back on, I grabbed the weight releases by accident. It would have been better if the releases did not release quite so easily.

Do you have an Aqualung BCD that needs Sure-Lock Weight Pouch? Well look no further. The Aqualung Replacement Sure-Lock II Weigh Pouches are available in 10 lbs. and 16 lbs. (4.5 kg. and 7.26 kg) weight capacities in each pouch. The Sure-Lock II Weigh Pouches work with soft or hard lead weights. The Sure-Lock is easy to load and remains secure until you want to release it. The Sure-Lock Weight Pouches align themselves. Just insert the pouch until it "clicks". A simple, single pull release is all that is needed to jettison the weights in an emergency. Pouches have a hook & loop fastener to secure weight (s) in pouch.
