Aqualung Squeeze Lock Knife, Blunt

Bought this to add on to my Aqualung BCD. A good knife is one of those things you hope you will never need but nice to have just in case. The quality seems decent and its easily accessible if I do ever need it.

Fits perfectly on a hose. This way it's always available but out of the way. Lots of cutting options.

This is my third one to buy: one for my wife, one for me, and now one for my daughter. I always get the titanium as I believe that they do better in the salt water that we generally dive in. They are the right size, fit on our BCs great in a handy location, and stay sharp. The squeeze lock mechanism holds the knife secure yet is easy to manipulate and draw the knife when needed.

Wanted a small knife for diving as a safety measure against entanglement. This one is perfect. Mounted easily to my Dimension BCD using the grommets above the left pocket. Knife is secure when in the sheath. Easy to remove with a light squeeze.

Used in a whitewater environment mainly as a cheese slicer but also as an emergency rope cutter. Double squeeze lock mechanism is good. Sheath is solid. Will take a sharpening stone to the plain edge blade and turn it from a single bevel to a double bevel.

I highly recommend the Aqua Lung squeeze lock knife. I find it is a very useful multi-purpose tool. Whether you are cutting, prying, or using it as a screw driver, it does the job in the water or out. Easy access and quick removal is another feature I like.

I love this knife! It is just what I wanted. I was a little concerned about the 'squeeze'when I ordered it because I have small hands, gloves and not a lot of strength as I get older in cold water. This knife is very light weight, durable and simple to sheath!

The first unit I got seemed to have gone through some storage or shipping damage and arrived with the sheath broken and blade slightly bent. I happen to live in NYC so I just went in and they immediately gave me a new one. I have not been diving with it yet but the quality looks great. The Squeeze / Click is strong and I would not expect it to ever fall out. I put the blade in some salt water and left it out before rinsing and no signs of spots on the blade. Overall very satisfied and am happy with how they handled the 1st delivery that was damaged.

After losing two knives from a major manufacturer because of the faulty locking mechanism I almost gave up. I saw this knife and thought the locking mechanism looked foolproof. It is! Although the connecting screw holes did not match with my Oceanic BC, I was able to use one screw hole and then punch a hole in my BC pocket to fit the scabard snugly on the BC. The blade is sharp and the blunt end prevents me from puncturing my BC.

I like the knife but I am pretty sure I did not order a blunt tip knife. I needed one with a sharp tip.

I love the size and handling of this knife and the fact that it fits nicely in the grommets of my BCD. My only complaint is that it could have came a little sharper.

aqua lung brand knife which screws into existing holes on Seaquest BCDs. I have bought three of these over the years. The only problem is that my fellow divemasters borrow mine and never return them. Great for cutting illegal fishing nets in the marine sanctuary in Costa Rica where I work. Do not think of this as a cheap knife, just a great deal.

This is my second squeeze lock knife and I love them. The locking mechanism is secure and yet easy to release when needed. I also like the different attachment options.

BC attachment threaded knobs are too short and the plastic heads both broke off after a couple trips. Time to head to the hardware store and figure out a plan B.

Blade arrives dull. If you try to sharpen it the metal is soft and will not take an edge well.

this knife is the perfect size for what you need. i have used it in both fresh and salt water for 12 dives so far and enjoy how easy it is to take it out of the scabbard and more importantly, then to return it. i use two s of olive oil since it is stainless steel and it works fine so if you do not want to pay for the titanium, this is a nice cost effective knife.

I really have enjoyed using this dive tool. Just as advertised, the sheath locks the knife in and there is no wiggling of the knife while it is in the sheath. It is a very secure system. It is a small size so it doesn't get in the way of activities. I use this snorkeling, kayaking, canoeing, etc. because I know it will not fall out of a pocket like a regular pocket or clip on knife. I am not sure about the blade yet. I am not the best at sharpening knives but it seems that this Wenoka takes a little work to get it sharp. I have cut fishing line and rope above and under the water with it and it performed great however. The only real problem I had with the item is that no rubber straps were included with it. The sheath is advertised to attach to your dive gear but I don't do much diving so I had to buy straps for like 5$. It would just be easier to include them. Overall I love the tool and would definitely buy another.

We both have aqualung/seaquest BC's and these knives fit the grommets perfectly. Its the best mount I have seen. easy to pull out, so out of the way you forget its there.
