I'm 5'4", 130 lbs and the size 8 fits well. There is some compression but not too much, and the suit is easy to put on.

I am 56 years old and a former competitive swimmer with a large build. I needed a suit to work out in, to get back in shape. I am 5'9" and have more than a few pounds to lose, and was having trouble finding a suit that would fit me and still hold up to a grueling workout with multiple flip turns. This one is PERFECT! I loved it so much I ordered a second one!

I have been purchasing Speedo Racerback Swimsuits since University (30 yrs) in black. I love the style, design and feel of the suit. I still swim and this suit is perfect for doing my swim lengths. The suit is a bit tighter than years ago-so I just went up a size and am happy with that. I have always been happy with Speedo's customer service. (I am only sad that this cannot be shipped to Canada.)

I honestly didn't know this was a competitive swimsuit even though it does mention it. That being said, these types of suits are supposed to be tight. I was not sure whether to return it, but kept it and have used it for about two weeks now. I have zero qualms. I bought a size 32. I am 5'4 1/2 125 lbs, and my bust is about 34 C-D. This suit covers everything. It's very comfortable when I swim. I only do causal laps now, as I recently got into swimming, so I have been only doing drills. I spend about 1-1.5 hours in the pool a day, average three times a week. Great swimsuit. I feel very confident in it.

This suit does not fit me well but my wife looks great in it! This is her second, I get her a new one year. She uses it for swimming and as an undergarment when SCUBA diving with a wet suit. Great buy!!

I bought this the exact same size as my measurements, but the straps definitely are too tight. Also, the fabric at the bust area doesn't have a very good coverage. Everything else about this swimsuit is exactly the same as in descriptions.

I wanted to start lap swimming and read several reviews because I was concerned about size. I'm a middle aged 5'6", 155# desk jockey and a bought a size 40. Good choice. Covers everything that needs to be covered, not see-through. No tight straps, room to freestyle and flip turn, and pretty flattering given the circumstance. 4 stars because I'm can't say anything about whether it will stretch or fade over time.

I had been away from swimming for a number of years, and, I wanted to get back to it. But, I didn't have a suit to wear, since my body had changed, and my old speedo didn't fit anymore. So, I tried about 5 different speedos. Some were too small, some were too big, and, I finally found one that was just right!
