Shopper : If my husband wears a 9 1/2 shoe, should he purchase the size 8-9or 10-11 in the short blade fins?THOMAS S : 10-11JOHN S : If he has a wide foot I would go with the 10-11. Leisure Pro exchanges, so there is no real risk. They are great pool fins.

Great training fins

I've tried other training fins that I've returned. These are very comfortable, stay on nicely, are not heavy. They are quite helpful for accelerating and improving my swim workouts.

comfortable fins

Using fins for training--helps focus on kick, freestyle and backstroke--comfortable fit (W8-9) for my size 9-91/2 foot. disappointed that Speedo uses color to delineate size; I wanted bright color, but my size only comes in dull grey, but that does keep Speedo's price reasonably low.

Buy in person, NOT online........

I was going to purchase these online but am very happy I did not because the sizing on them is not true to their sizing chart as printed on the fins. . I wear a ladies size 7 shoe (US/Canadian) and a 39-40 European size in another brand of fins. According to the sizing chart for these, A medium should have been the perfect size for me. I ALMOST bought them online (and would have incurred an almost $20 additional shipping charge) but I am so glad I was able to find a store in my city that carried them in stock. I drove to the store, tried them on and realized they would have been TOO BIG.

too small for size 13 mens feet

The Zoomers Gold Z2 were Just right for size 13 men’s feet! (They label them “H”). These are a little heavier and feel more substantial than the National Geographic fins I was trying to replace (no longer available). They have a rectangular foot box which easily admits the toes, unlike a lot of fins where the toe pocket is circular. I also bought the TYR Cross-Blade Training Fins X-Large (11-13) Royal Speedo Short Blade Training Fin 2X-Large (12-13) Both sets were too small.
