I've paddled the Flare almost exclusively since 2017. In that time I've paddled 75+ streams across 2 continents, 20+ first descents and hundreds of miles from class I to class IV. It's flown across the Pacific twice, it's been on the back of a motorbike more times than I can count, it's been crammed in the back of a bus and it's been strapped to the side of an airplane. And through all that it has held up incredibly well, and it handles like a dream. It is small and nimble and does not handle like a standard ducky, but instead feels like a hardshell kayak. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a great little boat for floats! We love it. I do not recommend it for the kind of whitewater we have here, but for all of the play and casual, we love it - which is why we bought the second one.

I bought the Solstice kayak last summer, 2020, after using a less durable model from Amazon. I was really impressed on the quality of the kayak and the speed that the pump can inflate the kayak. I found the seat very comfortable once you find the right position. Only issue is there is no brace or foot rest to stop you from sliding down but I found my own McGiverism for that for under $5.
