Fuad M : What is the size of the D ring and patch?BRADLEY W : Haven't measured, but the D-Ring itself looks to be just under one inch at its base and the patch looks to be just under three inches across.HOMER B : Aprox 1.5 inches
Shopper : Will this mount only to vinyl, or fiberglass as well?Brendan R : Probably depends on the adhesive you use. I use 3M 5200 because I find the usual contact cement to peal off in the heat under some stress. I didn't use the adhesive that comes with the kit. Make sure you sand/scuff the area and clean with rubbing alcohol or something to prep for the adhesive.

The Kit allows you to increase storage capacity of your SUP by adding additional tie-down points with 4-included D-Rings with Bungee Cords. Kit includes the proper adhesive to bond the D-rings to the surface of your SUP Board. Kit contains 96" x .25" (243.9 cm x 6.35mm) of bungee cord, 4-stainless steel D-rings and anchor pads and a 1 fl. oz. (29.6 ml) tube of vinyl cement.
