Salvimar Tomahawk 135 CM Spear Gun : A Powerful, Accurate & Robust Blue Water Inverted Roller Gun

The Salvimar Tomahawk 135 cm hybrid inverted roller gun is an outstanding choice for a powerful, heavy-duty, blue water gun. The flattened, full-length cuttlebone profile of the barrel lends itself to outstanding lateral maneuverability, a critical factor when targeting fast-moving large pelagics, especially at high crossing speeds. While somewhat heavy when out of the water, it falls lightly to hand and is perfectly balanced in the water where it matters. The highly ergonomic interchangeable grip is easily the best and most comfortable on the market. It is extremely powerful and accurate with an incredibly smooth, adjustable trigger and crisp break point. The heavy duty, all-stainless steel trigger mechanism and cassette are the same Heavy Metal 350 type used in the Salvimar Hero rail gun. All components are of top quality, with impeccable fit and finish. The only initial downside is that it requires a two-step loading procedure, which is a bit slower than for a conventional rail gun although it really doesn't matter so much when hunting pelagics. The gun has proven to be absolutely reliable in constant hard use, and maintenance is simple and straightforward. Just remember to periodically clean and lubricate the roller on the trigger sear for maximum performance.

Compared to a standard Roller the Tomahawk system develops 35% more power thanks to the thrust provided by the 4 additional rubbers whose elongation starts when the upper rubber has reached the ideal extension constrained by the inner core. The Salvimar Hero Tomahawk speargun is made from an asymmetrical elliptical frame in aeronautical aluminum alloy with an enlarged profile for a hydrostatic trim. It has a trigger sensitivity adjustment for a more precise shot! There is also a chest loading pad made from soft rubber, that adds comfort when loading the gun, and the handle has a hook on the base for line fixing or a reinforced snap hook. The handle is ergonomic and is suitable for both left and right-handed divers. Gun comes equipped with a dovetail fitting for optional reel.

To help in rapid and low friction shaft movement when shooting, the Salvimar Hero Tomahawk Speargun, has a low friction Teflon shaft guide for a smoother shooting function. Heavy metal 350 trigger mechanism and muzzle tested to 772 lbs. (350 kg). Tomahawk propulsion system consisting of: Upper rubbers S400 16mm (5/8") with elongation controlled by inner core in Dymax line, 100% Climax 1.4mm (1/16"), tensile strength 551 lbs. (250 kg) + 4 additional S400R rubbers in line 19/32" (15mm). Guns come equipped with a stainless-steel 7.0mm or 7.5mm (9/32" or 19/64") diameter shaft with a single flopper pointed tip. Each model comes standard with a reel and monofilament reel line. The Salvimar Hero Tomahawk Speargun is available in multiple lengths depending on your hunting needs.
