Reuse and get them blue again! Buy a household desiccant refill, open it and vacuum-seal the MM's in for a week or two. Works like a charm!

A number of recent Moisture Muncher packs with the same lot number have been found to be full of half-expended desiccant capsules. This particular bag of capsules was better than most, but it was not 100 percent fresh, either, indicating something awry in the packaging process.

The product works great but once the package has been opened, the unused capsules will slowly turn pink in about a month.

I tuck these into my camera housing to help keep the air inside dry, especially when using the camera flash.

Tailored product for Sealife DC2000 underwater camera housing. Does the job well! This item was on back order for a long time and using the camera without the capsules was not productive. With the capsules - no moisture buildup inside the housing. Glad they are back in stock!!!!

Munchers definitely keep the condensation out of my underwater SeaLife 1400 housing! Wouldn't take my camera underwater without it! I highly recommend this product!

I would recommend this product to anyone using a canera housing. I only needed to replace capsule every 2-3 days Remember to immediately close pouch tightly, especially in humid areas.

I'm not sure why these rat bastards are so expensive. They works great but the cost is insane.

great design to put a dessicant into a underwater housing. The cylinders just clip into a bracket built into the SeaLife DC2000 case. Perfect to collect the water that alway fogs the lens or the screen. Good Job SeaLife

Have used these many times on diving Photo trips. Use to have problems with fogging on nite dives. Works very well keeping camera housing moisture down and preventing foggin on lens and such

This is a must for underwater cameras. Works well. I would not leave without one in the camera. I feel more secure.

The SL911 Moisture Munchers lasted all day with several dives. The case was opened and closed several times for service and the same muncher remained blue and the case/lens stayed dry and clear until the next days dive.

Too many per package. When in tropical enviorment. Once you open the package, the ones you don't use, wont last but a few days. However, they work well at keeping my camera housing fog free

These capsules solved my fogging problem in my underwater camera case!!!!!! Yippee! And I could usually do several dives on one capsule. Bought a pack of 10 last year and still have 7 left, but I'm sure glad I checked these in time to order some before my next trip. The ones I stored in the resealable pouch are no longer useable. Wish they came in a 5 pack size, so I don't feel like I'm wasting my money, although these are quite affordable. I will probably go ahead and change out more frequently during my next trip and not try to "conserve".

Solved my problem with my underwater camera case fogging up! Yippee! And could usually do several dives on one capsule. However, I didn't use the whole pack of 10 on my last trip and am sure glad I checked in time to order more before my next trip because the remaining ones are no longer usable. Wish they came in a 5 pack.

I usually forget to buy these prior to dive and buy at destination. Problem with that is they are shelf life sensitive and destination shops typically they are beyond life (turned pink). Even better these cartridges stayed blue the entire week inside by camera case!

The product works, but once you break the seal you must use the ampules within a month. The crystals absorb moisture even though the packet is "resealed".

Make sure to re-seal the package or they go bad quick in the tropics.
Hoe to reuse the Munchers!

Eats Humidity Kills Moisture:
Moisture can destroy the finest cameras in the world. Not water mind you, but just the dampness of the diving environment. You can't see it, but it's there, and it can cause damage to your equipment unknowingly at an extremely high cost to you. SeaLife's Moisture Muncher Packs absorb moisture to prevent fogging and corrosion of your valuable electronics and cameras. Use inside an airtight storage case or container to create a perfect dry environment for your valuable items. Each package contains ten (10) 0.53 oz. (1.5 g) capsules containing color indicating silica gel. When gel turns from blue to pink, full absorption has been reached. Silica gel packs are a great save-a-dive kit item. Always carry some spares so you will always have fresh dry absorbent silica packs on hand.
