Lighting is one of the most important components of underwater photography, and it's essential to bringing out bright colors in underwater photos and videos. The Sea Dragon 2500 which uses flat panel COB LED technology to closely mimic natural sunlight, bringing out amazing colors in underwater photos and videos. With a color rendering index of 90, the Sea Dragon 2500 solves the issue of blue underwater photos and videos by giving divers the ability to add light down to 200' (60m) with portable sunlight.

An Ultra-Wide Beam:

The incredibly wide 120 Degree beam on land (90 Degree underwater) of the Sea Dragon 2500 ensures maximum lighting coverage and is ideal for cameras with a wide field of view, like the SeaLife Micro HD or GoPro. With a lab verified lumen output of 2500, the light has a 60-minute burn time at full power - making it incredibly efficient as well as bright. Constant brightness regulated circuitry so light won't dim with battery power. One button control for easy operation - one button to power light on/off and select brightness with three brightness levels: 100%, 50% and 25%. Light has a hidden emergency signal mode: 1 second blink-interval and SOS Morse code. The Sea Dragon 2500 is equipped with a quick-release button to detach light and aim in crevices and hard to reach areas, so you can get the most out of your lighting. The 120 Degree wide beam angle (90 Degree underwater) evenly illuminates the subject with no hot spots. The light has a corrosion-proof metal light head for heat dispersion and durability and a removable 25W lithium-ion 7.4V, 3400 mAh battery w/charger and international plug adapters is included. The light charge time is 170 minutes. Light has a waterproof battery compartment - even if the O-ring seal fails, the battery compartment is isolated, so water cannot reach the internal electronics. Universal mounting screw fits SeaLife and other brands of underwater cameras w/ standard 1/4-20 tripod mount.

The light has an anodized aluminum light head with fiber-reinforced polycarbonate body. The lamp is a 1 x Vero 18 COB LED array (COB Chip-On-Board) and has a 35,000-hour bulb lifespan. Protective circuitry The light and battery feature integrated protective circuits that cuts power in the unlikely event the light overheats or short circuits. Safety pressure release valve one-way waterproof valve releases battery compartment pressure in the unlikely event of battery malfunction. The lights effective range is approximately 4' (1.2m) with a color temperature of 5000 Degree K. Burn time is 60-minutes at full power/120-minutes at half power/240-minutes at quarter power. The light head measures 4.8" x 2.2" x 3.8" (12.2cm x 5.6cm x 9.7cm) and weighs 13.1 oz. (371 g) and is negatively buoyant 3.32 oz. (94 g) underwater. The Sea Dragon 2500 uses dual NBR O-rings (lube included) seals and is negatively buoyant underwater. The light system comes with an owner's manual.

Note: Avoid using this Sea Dragon light above water for prolonged periods of time. The light is designed for underwater use and water is needed to displace heat. The metal light head at full power will reach temperature of about 140 Degree F (60 Degree C) within a few minutes, which may cause burning if touched. A thermal sensor will automatically dim the light if internal temperatures reaches 150 Degree F (65 Degree C). Immediately turn off light if any parts of the light become hot to the touch.

The Sea Dragon 2500 Underwater Photo/Video/Dive Light Head comes with a Flex-Connect Single Tray w/ standard 1/4-20 mounting screw, Flex-Connect grip, adapter for GoPro cameras with acorn nut, spare O-rings, O-ring lubricant, O-ring removal tool, instruction manual and Sea Dragon Case. The tray mount area is (L x W) 6.1" x 1.9" (155mm x 48mm) with a mounting screw adjustment length of 2.7" (69mm). The flex grip measures 7" (178mm) in length and has a 100% flex section ability.
