Chillproof by Sharkskin is the smart skin that replaces a 3mm wetsuit with a revolutionary high tech trilaminate that will keep you cool when it is hot and warm when your cold - in, on and under the water. Sharkskin's outer layer is a robust, high quality 4 way stretch material with a durable water repellent (DWR). The second layer is a 10,000 plus technical membrane that stops windchill and breathes to prevents overheating. The next to skin layer is a high-tech hollow fiber fleece that retains water when submerged and wicks moisture away on the surface to dry quickly and keep you comfortable.

How does it work?
When submerged the hollow fiber fleece is designed to absorb and hold water and prevent water flushing through the suit. Your body heats the water which provides a barrier against the cold water outside of the suit. On the surface Chillproof provides a windproof and water-resistant barrier to the elements. The high loft hollow fleece holds air which your body heats to keep you warm with minimal bulk. Any moisture is quickly wicked away and excess heat or water vapor will pass through the one way semi permeable membrane to prevent over-heating.

Chillproof Titanium (titanium far infrared) garments provide maximum warmth. This new fabric adds TiFIR technology to the original Chillproof fabric for even more warmth along with the associated health, performance and recovery benefits of far infrared. A revolution in thermal protection providing all the properties of traditional Chillproof plus the added benefit of titanium nanotechnology that both captures and generates far infrared radiation to generate heat and provide regenerative benefits.

Sharkskin Titanium Chill-Proof Long Pants are 100% Chill-Proof Material and are equally suitable teamed up with a top, under a dry suit, or by themselves for kayaking. They are cut with a high rear waist for comfort and warmth; provide protection from chaffing when dry and peace of mind knowing that if you do get wet you will still be warm. Sharkskin Titanium Chill-Proof Long Pants can be worn in combination with all other Sharkskin garments. Pants are equipped with stirrups to prevent ride-up when donning a wet or dry suit. They will also make donning of exposure suits easier with their smooth slick surface. Paints have a drawstring waist closure with adjustable barrel lock fastener.
