Fit me perfectly-got a size 2, I'm 5'2" and 115 lbs. but I don't think it's as warm as a 3mm. Wore it in 82 deg water, I run cold and normally my full 3mm is perfect. I was getting chilly by the end of the dives in this. Going to add a vest. Love how easy it is to pack.

Like the material and light weight of the suit. ordered a size smaller as suggested. It was a little long when I tried it out of the package. not unusual since I am 5'4". After my first dive, it looked like I was wearing my big brothers pajamas. It was just hanging on me. Unfortunately, I can not return it now for a smaller size. Valerie

Love all of my sharkskin items. This is a nice addition for pool and warmer water when you don’t want to wear a wetsuit or shortie but have extended time in the water. Neutrally buoyant is also very good for pool work. Sizes do run a little big.

The suit itself is great, it's comfortable, the fleece inner liner is soft and it's super stretchy. I usually wear a 12 wetsuit but ordered a 14 based on the size chart. There was no need as the Sharkskin suits are not neoprene, so they actually run quite large, and I prefer a snug fit. Ended up returning for a size 10 which fit like a glove. Very happy with my purchase. Can't say for comfort as an underlayer as I purchased it for warm water diving, but standalone wise it's exactly what I wanted.

Ordered one size down from my normal Bare 3mil. Arrived on time, fit excellent (it's looser than normal neoprene) very good quality. plan to wear under 3 mil for cooler dives< 70 deg and as stand alone for warmer dives.

This is a great alternative to a bulky wetsuit, but unfortunately, the bottom of the leg at the ankle is very loose so it lets in a lot of water, which makes me colder than I probably should be in this. Im working on making some elastic bands w/velcro to attach at the ankles so that the bottom fits more like a standard wetsuit. A friend of mine has the Sharkskin pants & while hers are also loose at the ankles, they are a bit more fitted and she stays warmer in hers.

I ordered this suit in several sizes, and ordered a couple of the separate tops and bottoms from Sharkskin to try on too. Absolutely nothing fit right. From the knees down, the suit is so oversized and bunchy it fit like snowboarding pants, water would just flood in! Same thing with the arms! Also it is so long! Granted I'm short, but you would have to be about 6ft tall with elephant ankles just to fit into this thing. I'm convinced this is the same cut as the men's suit just with some pink font on it. For $300, this suit needs to be redesigned with the female form in mind. I normally wear 12 bottoms and M & L tops. I ordered sizes 8-14. The 10 & 12 fit snug around my hips, but no where else! Even the armpits were bunchy. These are all going back.

GREAT SUIT
By SHARON P.
This suit is great and comfortable, and dries quickly.
The Sharkskin Chill-Proof by Bare 1-Piece Suit/undergarment provides full body protection from cold, sun and marine stingers. It can be used for layering under an existing wetsuit for extra warmth or can completely replace your wetsuit in warmer waters. It is less buoyant than neoprene, so you need less weight, making you more comfortable when snorkeling or diving. The suit/undergarment is equipped with stirrups and thumb tabs (loops) to prevent ride-up when donning a wet or dry suit. They will also make donning of exposure suit easier with its smooth slick surface.
Sharkskin Chill-Proof Material is an aquatic specific, windproof 3-layer composite material that has been developed for water sports athletes. The comfortable 'micro fleece' layer is next to the skin and 'wicks' moisture and sweat away from the body to help keep you dry. The second middle 'technical' layer is 100% windproof yet breathes to regulate body temperature while stopping wind chill. The third outer layer is a nylon/Spandex blend for abrasion resistance and 4-way stretch. It is also UV resistant for sun protection and has a durable water repellent finish (DWR) to provide a protective shell that 'sheds' water. Sharkskin Chill-Proof is neutrally buoyant, anti-microbial, odor resistant, itch resistant and machine washable. Suit has a back zipper with pull tab leash for easy self-donning and doffing and is available in multiple sizes.
