Shopper : Would these socks be good for surfing in cold water behind a boat with a wet suit?CHARLES E : I don't think they would be good for that. They are a loose fitting extra layer of insulation. I actually really like these under my hard sole dive boots for warmth on cold dives, but when worn without anything else they tend to shift and slide around pretty easily. Also the outer layer material is relatively slippery and there is no added grip on the bottom of the foot. Although if you want an added layer of insulation under boots or soft dive shoes, I would highly recommend these.

Keeps feet warm

Warm & Comfy

LOVE these socks! They helped keep my feet warm, which helped the rest of my body stay warm during my dive. Bonus, they helped my wetsuit slide on a lot easier. I wish that they had some kind of loop on the back, so that I could clip them to my BC. This would allow me to keep track of them better & dry out at the end of the day.

I like Them

I use these when I'm diving with a full length sharkskin pants - ease of use to get on. Also use them when I get into my 5 mm wetsuit and I use open style fins and good to fit inside wet or dry boots to avoid annoying rash from boots when diving 3-4 dives a day.
