Scubapro wrist band

I purchased this wristband to hold my Sherwood Genesis Resource puck computer. I was told that it would but it doesn't. Actually it only allows the very bottom 1/4 to be attached; I used electrical tape to secure the rest in place. I hope it holds it. Otherwise I may be buying a new computer if I lose it. But it's a nice wrist band.
