Fixed Silicone valve works perfectly

I had a problem with the valve on top and left a 1 star review but I am changing it to 5 stars, see below. edited 1/31-I spoke to someone at Santa Barbara Aquatics who sold me the snorkel and after discussing it with her and trying to understand how the dry valve is supposed to work considered it's the angle of the snorkel relative to the mouth piece that caused the issue.I played with it as the snorkel is 2 pieces and adjusted it so that the angle of gravity for the valve keeps it open when my head is down in the water. I swam without any problem today. Ultimately-there is stuff on Youtube it seems for everything- but for discussing how dry snorkels work and troubleshooting issues like this are lacking. I appreciate that someone else from SBA also got back to me.

Very happy with this snorkel

I am a beginner snorkler, and had trouble with water getting in my mouth. I used this for the 1st time in Aruba, and no more issue. This works great.

Great snorkel!

Really nice snorkel. Takes some getting used to. I have never snorkeled before this but when I did, I had to get used to the stopper enabling when I got a little too deep. Very helpful!

dry as a bone!

I bought this snorkel to satisfy my wife, who is a novice. She has not used it yet, but I've done summersaults with the thing and it never lets even a drop of water in. I love it and I'll be buying another.

Great dry snorkel

Another item I picked up in Sint Maarten at the local dive shop and have had zero issues with it snorkeling. I don't scuba dive so I cannot say if it's a good fit for dives and from what I have heard most divers prefer a simple old school snorkel for diving.
