This SMB can be inflated with the quick disconnect from the bcd inflator hose.Amin H : Not exactly sure how you’d do that, since that hose is usually connected to your BCD. You can inflate it with your octopus or by blowing into the opening. This SMB is open at the bottom.

Good SMB

I was planning on buying the 3.5 but it was out of stock so I went with the 4.5. Glad I did! I had trouble inflating it the first time around but that was user error. It was easy to inflate once I got the hang of it and I was able to successfully use it during my deep diver cert. Easily fit in my BC pocket.

Great product

The quality of the material is great and also the size is just perfect. I found others to be too small or way too big. Personally, I always prefer the SMB that are open at the bottom, so you can use your octo to inflate them. The only thing I changed is the cord, because I prefer to use a 30 ft spool

Scubapro safety buoy

Shipped on time and quick, easy to inflate and fits in BCD pocket. Good product as advertised. Dove with it in Belize a few weeks after delivery. Purchased a spool of line with it and everything works fine.

Good smb

Good SMB. Inflated as intended. Easy to orally inflate at surface on that one in a million that doesn’t get done properly (avoiding the shameful glances from others on the boat).

No inflation tube

I must refer to above review. I, too, made the same mistake in ordering this item. It will require inflation from your primary air source. If I had noticed this delinquency I would never have ordered it.

The version I got didn’t have the inflation tube or the over pressure valve which wasn’t clear in the advertisement. The two I received were open bottom type

Increase your chances of being seen on the surface with quality safety signal buoy. Known as SMB (surface marker buoy) Scuba Pro offers 3 models to choose from. The professional grade SMB includes slots for inserting bottom weights to ensure upright stability in choppy seas. It has a double inflation system and a high-visibility orange color scheme. It offers a sealed design and durable 210D nylon with HF welded seam construction. When not in use it folds compactly for stowage in a BC pocket. When inflated buoy is 55" x 7" (140cm x 18cm) and weighs 8 oz. (228g). Easy Inflation valve and pull dump with cord for easy buoyancy control. Buoy has edge tape for strength and durability. There's a stainless D-ring and bungee loop on the lower end, with a plastic D-ring on top for a flashlight.

The compact SMB (surface marker buoy) folds into a small package for easy stowing while diving, then deploys quickly once you reach the surface. The compact like the professional is made of rugged high-visibility orange color scheme 210D nylon with HF welded seams, the bottom is sealed and a metal inflator and 1.65" (42mm) exhaust valve are included. There's a stainless D-ring and bungee loop on the lower end, with a plastic D-ring on top for a flashlight. When inflated buoy is 42" x 6" (106cm x 16cm) and weighs 6.2 oz. (175g).

Made of durable bright orange HF welded PVC, this economical SMB (surface marker buoy) includes a 20' (6m) tether and clip. It folds compactly and stows in its own nylon pouch. The bag itself is fitted with a clip for attachment to a D-ring for quick and easy deployment. When inflated buoy is 51" x 6" (130cm x 16cm) and weighs 12.7 oz. (360g).
