nice lightweight reg, I got it not only for travel but also for local diving in Monterey. I've tried it with an Air2 and a standard Octo. If you use an Octo, note that the "high flow" LP ports are located one right and one left so assuming you have your primary second stage on the right; you'll either have to connect the Octo to the right side "non-high flow" LP (still works in this port) - or - connect to the "high flow" LP on the left (which is awkward for a standard Octo). Super reliable
This is my 2nd 1st and 2nd stage I've bought, I dive both recreationally and at work, recovering cars and boats. I've never had a free flow with this system, maintenance is easy, super easy to breath, and works flawlessly in perfect or zero visibility

The Scubapro MK11 First Stage Regulator is the perfect choice for recreational divers who want the benefits of a diaphragm first stage. This type of first stage is known for its environmental sealing, which prevents water from entering the internal mechanism.
This is particularly important for divers who will be diving in cold water, as regulators can generate temperatures as low as 22-degree F (-5.5-degree C), and it is important to keep sensitive metal parts from coming into contact with the cold water or debris. The MK11 features a balanced diaphragm and a streamlined body made of machined marine-grade chromed brass. It also comes with the Thermal Insulating System (TIS), which keeps the first stage from freezing up in cold water conditions.
Additionally, the over-balanced diaphragm design provides better breathing performance at greater depths, and the regulator is equipped with two 7/16" threaded HP and four 3/8" threaded LP Ports, with two of the LP Ports being High Flow Ports (HFP) for easier breathing.
The Scubapro C370 Second Stage Regulator is the latest addition to the company's high-performance line of second stages. Based on the compact C350, the C370 features a balanced valve and improved exhaust tee for better work of breathing. It also includes a compact hi-flow mouthpiece for increased airflow and comfort, as well as adjustable inhalation effort control and a coaxial dive/pre-dive lever.
The air-balanced valve smoothes out the inhalation effort at varying depths and supply pressures, and the compact and rugged fiberglass-reinforced nylon casing makes it easy to transport. The regulator comes with a 3/8" threaded hose, and weighs 31 oz. (881g), and includes an owner's manual.
