ROBERT R : Can this knife and sheath be secured to ones pressure gauge hose easily with zip ties?WILLIAM L : I guess you could attach the knife to the hose, however i would not recommend attaching anything to a pressure hose. There are better places on your BCD to make the attachment.JAY N : There is a velcro loop at the top of the sheath in back that allows you to slip the sheath over a BCD webbing/strap of about 2-inches wide. There is no connection at the bottom of the sheath and therefore if installed on a hose, would flap around, unless you could somehow thread a zip-tie through the cordura fabric. I purchased as a lightweight back-up knife especially for travel and this knife serves that purpose well. I installed it on my chest strap.BILL N : It could but is better on a strap.

Nice, very light, compact knife

This is a cool blade. It's important that you realize that it's pretty small (length is overall, not blade length) and that it's made to be tucked into a pocket on your BC. I put a paracord lanyard on mine to make it easier to grab.

ScubPro XCUT Titanium TTEK knife

Knife is as advertised, very sharp , does not rust in saltwater; however, the sheath is poor quality. It does not hold the blade well and is difficult to attach in a useful position on the BC.

Excellent addition to a "TEK" rig!

Great little knife for the TEK rig. People should know that it's designed the the ScubaPro TEK set up...it DOES NOT come with straps, as it's not designed to be worn on the LEG...I hope I've made that crystal clear...

Nice but not complete

They should tell you that straps don't come with it, and offer you the opportunity to purchase them. First, it would give them a chance to make more money. More importantly, it wouldn't arrive and not be ready for use.

The Scubapro X-Cut Titanium TEK Knife is a multi-function knife made from Alpha (hardened) titanium and its 2.5" (6.3cm) specially designed Scubapro shaped blade maintains a highly durable cutting edge for lightweight, long life, corrosion free performance. The knife overall length is 5" (12.7cm) and the blade has a rounded tip with a serrated edge and a line cutter. The knife is equipped with an ergonomic handle design with an eyelet for attachment of a wrist lanyard.

The low profile, hook and loop closure, soft protective sheath is designed specifically to fit on a tech harness waistband. Titanium combines durability, sharpness, hardness, strength, and abrasion resistance. This knife is 100% corrosion resistant.
