Scubapro Glide X BC with Air 2

This Scubapro Glide X BC will allow you to experience extremely comfortable diving. The Scubapro exclusive jacket style wrap-around air bladder retains its cradle like shape even when fully inflated. Fully adjustable, it comes with an integrated weight system and a wide range of exceptional features. The Glide X is a weight integrated design with both releasable weight pockets with capacities from 20 lbs. to 24 lbs. (9 kg to 11 kg) and non-releasable rear trim weight pockets with 6 lbs. to 10 lbs. (2.7 kg to 4.5 kg) capacities. The BC comes equipped with Scubapro's a stainless-steel cam-action buckle system for easy adjustment and sure grip. The BCD bladder is made from durable 420-denier nylon with a polyurethane external coating, a urethane internal laminate and is radio frequency (RF) welded for airtight integrity.

A custom fit is ensured with the BCD's fully adjustable cummerbund, torso, waist and sternum adjustable strap assemblies. All straps are equipped with squeeze-style side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. The BCD provides ultimate comfort with its rotating torso buckles and padded back pack. Attachment and storage or accessory items are not a problem with the 4-stainless steel D-rings and 2-zippered side pockets. The BC also has grommets for mounting of a BC knife.

To control your buoyancy the Glide X comes with a large shoulder overpressure relief valve with manual pull dump cord and Scubapro's Air 2 breathable inflator that is also equipped with a rapid pull dump mechanism with cable pull for easy deflation of the air bladder. The Glide X BCD comes in multiple sizes with lift capacities ranging from 22.5 lbs. to 38.2 lbs. (10.2 kg to 17.3 kg) and weighs 8.62 lbs. to 10.16 lbs. (3.9 kg to 4.60 kg) depending on the BCD's size. BCD is available in multiple colors and comes with an owner's manual.

The Glide X BCD comes equipped with Scubapro's AIR2 Breathable Inflator. When you took dive lessons you learned to perform specific skills to make you safe and comfortable underwater and at the surface. One of those skills was buoyancy control. Once you start diving for fun you use your buoyancy control device constantly throughout the dive. Your octopus or alternate air source device on the other hand is never used unless there is an emergency out-of-air situation. Reacting properly in an out-of-air situation can make the difference between an eventful dive and a tragedy. If your alternate air source and your BCD inflator device are one and the same, you will always know where to find it in an emergency. AIR2 is more than a simple inflator. Its components design takes advantage from the best regulator technology to guarantee maximum efficiency and reliability. As an inflator AIR2 provides perfect pressure control for a great buoyancy management. Ergonomic shape makes it easy-to-handle in any circumstances and it can be emptied by simply pressing the exhaust button.

AIR2's air balanced power inflator provides smooth and reliable inflation at all tank pressures. Single hose configuration eliminates the need for a separate alternate air source. Fixed VIVA flow vane for safe and uncomplicated use one-hand operation for instinctive and simple operation the self-flushing mechanism requires just one push on the purge to clear away all dirt. The AIR2 uses a classic downstream valve for less maintenance and reliability. The housing is a precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer impact resistant design that weighs 6.7 oz (190 g). The AIR2 comes with a 3/8" threaded 27.56" (70 cm) high-flow low-pressure hose and owner's manual.
