This was a great investment. It is a slim fit, has the perfect amount of weight pockets including two on the back, well made and durable. Very pleased.

My 13 year old BC finally called it quits. I was debating between getting another basic jacket style BC, or going all-in and buying a more expensive jacket style BC with all the bells and whistles. After a lot of research I decided to go with the Scubapro Glide X. I was immediately disappointed from the moment I opened the box and tried it on. I'm 100% a size medium, but this thing felt and looked bulky. The air bladder extends very low like a tail on a tuxedo. The chest strap buckles were the cheapest plastic material possible, and felt like they would break on the first use. Additionally, there was a manufacturing defect on the BC where the stitching on the left shoulder strap was sewn incorrectly, and it forced the seam to go into a vertical orientation and dig into my shoulder. My shoulder was red and irritated from just a few minutes of wearing the BC with a shirt and no tank or weights. I ended up returning this BC. I can't say enough about LeisurePro customer service. Everything about the ordering and return process was smooth and efficient. I know ScubaPro has a good reputation, but I feel like they were drinking too much of their own cool-aid on this one. The quality to price ratio doesn't work for me.

Great gear. This is a re purchase of an item I had previously. Gear was great. The best thing is how well LeisurePro worked with us to get it to us in time for dive trip. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Everything you could ask for in BCD. Features galore. I'm 6'1" - 220 pounds and purchased size XL and it provides more than enough lift for me and is very comfortable. The 4 D-rings are positioned perfectly, the weight integrated system is convenient and easy to use. Fully adjustable in every way. The cam lock on the tank strap secures the tank like no other. Have yet to find one thing I would change about this BC. I've used other brands, but I am sold on Scubapro.

Will be using this as our BCD for both local and travel dive going forward. These replace the Mares Dragon and Kaila. Fit very well and the weight of the tank does not tend to pull the collar strap upward against the neck at the front. Noticed that the cummerbund on the Mares are elastic while this one is non-elastic, probably making it more able for the tank to be supported at the waist. Very easy to don. The pockets are much larger and unobstruted. The Dragon/Kaila's pockets are reduced by the weight buckle hardware. The tank Super-Cinch buckle is fantastic as it can be detached so that the strap can be routed around the tank and reconnected. No need to lift the whole BCD and struggle inserting the tank through the strap loop anymore. The upper tank loop is adjustble so that the tank height can be set. The purge valves are lighter to pull. The main purge valve can be open by pulling the inflator tube, good feature. It is well manufactured with all the pieces properly assembled. As said, it is better than I expected.

This is a great BC and I say this after close to 100 dives and 3 years of use. I have yet to have any issues whatsoever. It still looks great and functions flawlessly. The only issue I ever had was figuring out how I would rig the thing and after three years and multiple set ups I think I've finally got it right for me. I have really come to appreciate the fact that I can adjust this BC a lot. There is also a small band to hang over the tank valve so my tank sits at the same spot on every dive. The trim pockets are also a nice touch but only occasionally used. The weight integration is also very nice and easy to use. This BC has outstanding lift I am about 225 pounds and have never had to worry about surfacing. I have no issues with being restricted underwater and float face up once on the surface without the need to have to lean back. This BC also travels well. My entire dive kit minus regulator fits nicely into my Dive n roll. Without hesitation, I would buy this exact model again !!
