Review Summary

I don't won't to lead anyone wrong on size. I did a review earlier on the GO BC when I got it and stated the size chart was big well I would like to change that. I was wearing a dive shirt when I tryed on the BC but after putting on my 3 mm wetsuit I decided to get the Extra Large BC. I'm 6'3" and weigh 250. I hope this saves someone from the hassle of an exchange.

I have tried many BC's and I haven't found any that are as light weight or as comfortable as this one. Scubapro did it right with the GO model being only 6 lbs and a weight system that won't release on it own. Also when the weights are installed the BC is still stream lined. With the Air2 combo you can't go wrong with this BC. I found that it runs a little big from there chart, I'm 6' 3 and 250 lbs and I wear a Large BC.

Best Travel BC Combo.

I have tried many BC's and I haven't found any that are as light weight or as comfortable as this one. Scubapro did it right with the GO model being only 6 lbs and a weight system that won't release on it own. Also when the weights are installed the BC is still stream lined. Go dive the world. That's our message with this true travel BC. Lightweight, easy to pack and extremely comfortable, it includes an integrated weight system and other original features, as well as Scubapro quality, style and spirit of adventure. The large size weighs less than 6 lbs. (2.7 kg). The Scubapro Go BCD has a single-air cell that provides high buoyancy and maximum comfort for travel divers. The Go BC has 22.5 lbs. (10.2 kg) of lift on the X-Small size and 42.7 lbs. (19.4 kg) on the X-Large. Made from light and resistant 210 Denier Nylon material covered in polyurethane makes the Go BC tuff, yet lightweight for travel. Packing your BC for your next adventure is made easy with the Go's foldable Airnet backpack that is lightweight and soft, without rigid elements. The entire BC can be easily folded, secured with a dedicated buckle and stored in its own travel sack.
Scubapro's quick-release integrated weight system allows perfect buoyancy and fast weight release in the event of an emergency. High profiles, easy to access zippered pockets are reinforced with strong mesh for long wear and quick drying. BC is equipped with double tank straps that provides extremely good balance in any position and reduces pressure on your back. Great lightweight rotating shoulder strap buckles add comfort and fit. Accessory attachment is made easy with the large size aluminum D-rings placed right were you need them. BC has side grommets for SCUBAPRO knife attachment. There is also an Octopus Holder for easy access in an emergency out-of-air situation. Multiple pull dumps on shoulders and lower rear makes releasing air fast and easy. Depth-compensating cummerbund with quick release waist strap gives a stable and comfortable feel with any exposure suit. BC has an adjustable sternum strap. The Go BCD comes with an owner's manual and a 3/8" threaded low pressure hose.
BC comes equipped with Scubapro's AIR2 Breathable Inflator. When you took dive lessons you learned to perform specific skills to make you safe and comfortable underwater and at the surface. One of those skills was buoyancy control. Once you start diving for fun you use your buoyancy control devise constantly throughout the dive. Your octopus or Alternate Air Source devise on the other hand is never used unless there is an Emergency Out- of-Air Situation. Reacting properly in an Out of Air Situation can make the difference between an eventful dive and a tragedy. If your alternate air source and your BCD inflator devise are one and the same, you will always know where to find it in an emergency. AIR2 is more than a simple inflator. Its components design takes advantage from the best regulator technology to guarantee maximum efficiency and reliability. As an inflator AIR2 provides perfect pressure control for a great buoyancy management. Ergonomic shape makes it easy-to-handle in any circumstances and it can be emptied by simply pressing the exhaust button. AIR2's air balanced power inflator provides smooth and reliable inflation at all tank pressures. Single hose configuration eliminates the need for a separate alternate air source. Fixed VIVA flow vane for safe and uncomplicated use one-hand operation for instinctive and simple operation the self-flushing mechanism requires just one push on the purge to clear away all dirt. The AIR2 uses a classic downstream valve for less maintenance and reliability. The housing is a precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer impact resistant design that weighs 6.7 oz. (190 g).
