Scubapro Argon Strap Kit, Back Plate Mount

Argon serves as a better insulator than air. By filling the dry suit with argon, the diver replaces the thinner, more compressible air with denser gas that does not compress nearly as much under a given pressure. This is a very advantageous concept for the dry suit diver. The Scubapro Argon Strap Kit mounts Argon tanks to S-Tek Pure and Pro back plates (see SKU's: SCPSPRHB, SCPSPUHB, SCPSPUHB, SCPSPUHD30, SCPSPUHD40, SCPSPUHD60, SCPSPUSHD). Kit fits 6 and 13 cubic feet tanks. Includes 1 tank mount band and heavy-duty bungee cord for back plate & Argon tank attachment. Back plate attachment is simple with the webbing threading through the special slot on the back plate and affixing with the included Quad-Glide for secure attachment. Argon Tank attachment offers a rubber grip pad, hook and loop strap and lower band with tank neck cradle cord. Heavy-duty bungee cord secures upper end of the Argon Tank to the back plate.
